Recommended hotels to stay in Tokyo 👍. Strategic location close to bus stops and MRT lines. Booked a family room and the room was very spacious to open 3 large suitcases. If you want to go to Tsukiji Market, just walk. There is a family mart and a local supermarket near the hotel.

This hotel was a huge disappointment. It looks nothing like the pictures. It is messy and the rooms are extremely small and not well maintained. It is constant chaos with how there isn’t even a lobby and the amount of people they have. It is clearly a budget hotel marketed to appear to be 4-stars, I have no idea in what world it would count as one. The staff was completely useless, they do not clean your rooms daily unless you ask, and you have to take the towels outside yourself for them to give you new ones. Even the cleaning staff had a mess on the hallways at all times. They barely give you a pillow that is rock hard and the bed is made without sheets. Also, the rooms aren’t in great condition as the walls are all messed up. The location is also very average, there is nothing closeby except for the tsujiki fish market. I wouldn’t recommend it at all it was a very unpleasant experience all around.

I had a terrible time at this hotel. I travel a lot & have slept on many types of beds, but the beds here were so hard that it felt like the equivalent of throwing a sheet over a brick of concrete. I went to the lobby & politely asked if I could have an extra blanket to lay down underneath me to try to add a little more cushion, but was told I could not. It’s not the fact that they didn’t give me an extra blanket that upset me, although I’ve never been to a hotel where you couldn’t get one upon request, it was how rude the person at the front desk was when I asked. I completely understand that beds in other places can feel different than at home & I was very polite when I asked. An hour later my husband called down the front desk to see if maybe he could get an extra towel we could use instead. This time a gentleman answered the phone & suggested he come down the front desk to grab a blanket instead. I was completely floored that I was just told we couldn’t have one from the woman we were speaking with, but now this gentleman was saying we could have one. So my husband goes down to the front desk to pick up said blanket, when out of nowhere the original woman from earlier came out from the back room & rudely told him “I told you we don’t have one!” Also, used the laundry and my clothes ended up coming out smelling absolutely terrible. You have been warned!

One of the staff is not very accommodating. I asked for a little bowl to get some ice and the answer is no. I could not believe that they couldn’t accommodate such simple request, as it was so hot in Japan and to make matter worst, one of her colleague seems to be able to do something about it but the same person seem to have stopped her. Also as I came to the desk the following day, same staff whispered something to her colleague which made me feel a little awkward. Unfortunately, not great experience due to one person.

The hotel is located 20 minutes walking from Ginza shopping. The bus is 2 minutes walk if you don't want to suffer in the heat. The bus also took us to the Tokyo station to catch the bullet train. There's a great ramen place around the corner and nearest train station is 8 minutes walk. The breakfast is very good with western and Asian options. The staff are really nice. I stayed there for 6 days and left for Osaka and will come back after 6 days. I was allowed to check in my bags, one per person, while I'm in Osaka. This was a life saver! There's also a fish market and knives shop which I intend to visit when I'm back. If you like shopping in Ginza then I highly recommend this hotel. Just make sure you bring a rolling bag to haul everything back. The walk back at night is great after eating all the food and desserts! The neighborhood is safe and quiet, not busy like Shinjuku or Shibuya.
