How kind and accommodating can hotel staff be? The staff are 11/10. One of the cleanest, well-maintained hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The property was immaculate and so close to everything.

To get to the pool or gym requires an elevator ride, walk across the lobby, separate elevator ride and passing through another staffed room (because the pool has an extra per person fee). My teenage son was not allowed to use the gym, even with supervision.
Massages are not available in the morning and require a separate fee for a proper massage room instead of the bed in your room (beds make poor massage tables in my opinion).
Room had a humidifier, but it brought the room up to 80% rather than a more sensible 60%. It was not configurable as far as we could tell. So we turned it off, but the cleaning staff turned it on again. Likely due to this, the room had a distinct mildew / mold smell (relatively common in Japan). The best hotels I've stayed in here have a humidifier / dehumidifier that keeps the room between 50% and 60% which is comfortable and avoids mold.
Overall, it is in a very convenient location and the room was spacious (we stayed in the family room), but the extra fees were tedious and felt unwelcoming and the room was too humid and smelled of mold. To me luxury is convenience and comfort, not a fancy lobby. This hotel had issues with both.

The stay was for only one night but it was nice. The price is not worth it unless you want to flex for whatever reason. The parking for one night was about $100AUD so wont be doing that again.

A wonderful property super conveniently located adjacent to Nagoya Station. Our Club Room had a commanding view of the city and sunsets were spectacular. Our room was quite spacious and great aircon as it was quite warm during our visit. The convenience of being adjacent to Nagoya Station cannot be over-emphasized. Everything is there - shopping, dining, transportation connections (i.e. bus, tax, metro/subway, Shinkansen). We enjoyed our Japanese "washoku" breakfast in the executive lounge and it was a wonderful experience. They serve umeboshi from Wakayama with the breakfast that was heavenly (for those of you who know and like umeboshi, you know what I am talking about).

We were only passing through Nagoya and this hotel was perfect for the night. It sits on the 15+floors above the train station so easy the entrance is in the train station and we had access to anything we needed at the train station. Views were amazing, the hotel was very clean, staff was helpful and the breakfast buffet, while pretty pricy, was worth it for a great start to the day.

Wow! Such an outstanding experience staying at the Nagoya Marriott Associa Hotel! Every staff person I met, were friendly and cordial, and made a point to greet me. My room was very spacious, and I had an amazing view of the city. Breakfast at Pergola was great as well! And the location is really convenient, being connected to Nagoya Station.
Just everything felt grand and overall a magical experience. I will absolutely come back here again! Thank you so much!

특급호텔 답게 넓고 쾌적했습니다. 화장실 청결은 쏘쏘했고 줄눈 관리가 안 되는 느낌이고 낡고 층간소음이 좀 있긴 했어요. 수압이 좋고 샤워기 필터 써도 색이 하나도 안 변할 정도로 물이 깨끗했어요. 경치가 좋고 위치가 최고였습니다. 몰이랑도 연결되고 12-13층엔 레스토랑이 있어서 이용이 편리하고 지브리 가는 것도 나와서 바로 안내표지가 있어서 좋았어요. 15층이 로비라 매번 갈아타는 게 좀 번거롭긴 했어요. 다음에도 나고야 가면 이용할 것 같아요.

The staff were wonderful and typically Japanese they were super polite and helpful.
The food in the restaurant and room service is very tasty.
The rooms are very comfortable. I had the best sleep in weeks in that bed.
I did have to request a room with a desk when I first arrived but this was no problem for the staff and they switched my room immediately without hesitation.
Finally the location is excellent as it is right above Nagoya station ( no noise) and there is also a shopping center from floors 1 to 10 and dozens of restaurants on floors 12 and 13.
Nagoya castle is only a short 15-20 minute walk away and with the trip. The Toyota museum is also about 15 minute walk and I really really recommend going to have a look at that. It is very interesting.
