CASA NOU

Staying in this property was a terrible decision. My check-in was an awful experience. The person in charge of check-in was super rude (I got 32 minutes before 3.00 PM, and it looks like he was mad about it). The facilities are not even good; the room was only partially clean; I found mold in the bathroom; the fridge is not available; and the bedspread was old and torn. Also, I found a previously used hand towel. I don't recommend this place; you can find plenty of options in the Condesa area with better services and not treated poorly.

This place is misrepresent. This place is old full of stains, bed sheets are not crisp, the kitchens are not functional without proper utensils and to top it off , there are cockroaches.

Don’t expect a lot. You Get what you pay for. The rooms aren’t air-conditioned. I was there in the winter so it wasn’t that hot. Rooms are clean But I didn’t have a power point next to my bed or nightstand. Closest power point was on the other side of the room The concierge is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. 24 hr concierge

The place is okay, and I will return. The room is a suite but mainly for sleeping only. The dining/kitchen isn't well designed and there is very little lighting. The bed was awesome and unlimited hot water in the shower. Very little road noise at night. Staff and mucamas were excellent. Full time door man and front desk.

This place was very nice very friendly staff the only problem i had was the room size. The room size was advertised as 650 SQF and the reality it was only about 250 ver very small i pay for the 650 SQF room and got a 250. Talk to the lady in front desk very friendly but charge me more for a bigger room that i had pay for.

Good location and low price but unfortunately had a chaotic stay that led to me booking another hotel. It looks like they've recently put in some sort of air conditioning, but the electrical in the building is not equipped to handle it. We noticed the lights flickering after the air was on, and then lost power in our room completely. When I went to ask, it seems like other guests lost power as well. Our initial room had a king sized bed and street facing window for some fresh air. It also had a sofa and a decent sized dining area. Because of the power outage, we were moved to an interior room with a smaller bed, and no dining table. We weren't compensated for the difference in room type. In addition to this, the majority of our second day there was no wifi, as the electrical situation was still unresolved. After all this a simple ask for an extra bottle of water was rebuffed, and I was told to walk to the Oxxo up the street. If you just need a place to sleep, this will do, but if you are looking for an enjoyable experience, I would look elsewhere.

I travelled alone to Mexico City and had friends staying near by in the area. I stayed at Casa Nou alone as young woman travelling I felt very secure staying there. My room was clean and had everything it needed. Yes the rooms don’t have AC, like most places in the city but you’re provided with a fan. If you’re wanting a place with a nice view, this isn’t the place for you. Thank you Casa Nou for the wonderful stay

The hotel was very secure which is nice when traveling solo. However The room had no natural light all windows faced inside towards the stairwell or the hallway. The room cleanliness was meh stains on the walls. Not much ventilation, was very stuffy and little mildew smell. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and a great area.

Great location

It felt safe and staff were super friendly. They were able to accommodate us during an unpleasant experience earlier that night. They upgraded 2/3 rooms booked. We loved that the rooms came with kitchenettes. They also offer daily cleaning. There’s a door person 24/7 which is great. Some areas of opportunities are that there’s no AC, you have a small fan that you need to run all day in order for the room not to feel stuffy. I am not sure what is going on in the property or its surroundings but it is super loud at night as well. One of the rooms was not in the best conditions. Overall, it was a decent stay.
