Avoid at any cost. I would never be back here. Worst customer service I ever experienced. Also the restaurant food is very average but prices are super high.

This is a beautiful resort clearly aimed at high-end, luxury travelers who aren’t concerned about prices. Food and drinks are very expensive (e.g., ~$25 USD for a small quesadilla, ~$30 for dessert and a cappuccino) not including the tip of course. We got a great room rate, but extra costs added up quickly. The hotel shuttle was $200 USD when taxis or Uber were much cheaper and perfectly fine. Our concierge, Roger, said he didn’t have experience with the place we wanted to visit but still strongly pushed hotel transportation and discouraged taxis/Uber in a way that felt fear-based rather than informative. Our room in Punta Mita was extremely humid — the sheets felt damp and even the lamp had condensation. We were told it would be taken care of, but the room stayed humid the entire stay. On the positive side, the pool staff were excellent and very attentive, and Codex is a must-visit restaurant even if you’re not staying at the hotel. Overall: a gorgeous property, but truly designed for the very wealthy. Even with a good room rate, it may not feel like good value once you’re there.

We didn’t have connecting rooms. Never booking with hotels.com ever again.

The property was peaceful , well thought out

Wonderful facility, professional, kind and helpful staff, pretty much a 5 star experience, except for very expensive dining options. When I say expensive, not just London or NYC expensive, but like Monaco or Singapore expensive. Otherwise, not a single complaint.

Staff is superb, very friendly and attentive especially pool side. Kids loved the amenities and waterside. Great for families. Nice beach with great access. Property is nice but is old and rooms, even high end ocean front large suite, did not have a smart TV which was disappointing for the rate. Otherwise good price point although high end dining on sight was too expensive

Food safety was not practiced during breakfast buffet and servers without asking tended to collect you food and dishes more frequently which was so annoying. All the bees and flies covering fruits and breakfast items out side. The omelet station was not good they did not know how to make an omelet

We just did not realize how expensive it was. When we got there ordered two beers at the bar $16 usd. Dinner was well over $300 for 4 and no drinks. Breakfast $40 usd per person.. we ended up having to eat out- wait if you need a cab extra $70 - only use Uber. And we used Uber a lot

We were put in an ada room which had a tub as your shower area that flooded the bathroom every time you used it. Better make restraint reservations well before you get here because there 3 small restaurants cannot handle the amount of people at the hotel. We were turned away multiple nights for not having reservations. We ended up leaving the hotel and going somewhere else.

My 10yo daughter and I took a quick girls trip for 3 nights here and it was easy, beautiful, staff were cheerful (as always in Mexico) and accommodating, property had everything but felt small and was easy to get around and the beach and pools were fantastic!

Room was spotless, staff was great! Food at the pool was great. Food in the main restaurant near the lobby was not good.

I’ve been going here for about three or four years love this place. It is absolutely the most consistently pleasurable resort. I’ve been too. It is nice simple beautiful quiet. It’s the perfect place to go if you just want to relax. If you’re looking for a resort with a bunch of hoopla and madness and a bunch of wild people this is not your place if you’re looking for someplace to just relax enjoy the ocean. Enjoy the pool. Enjoy a good food and absolutely phenomenal service and lay back and relaxed that this is the spot to be!

Excelente opción , comida deliciosa, instalaciones muy padres y bien mantenidas, muy limpio y servicio excelente. Muy recomendado. Los precios de la comida y restaurantes altos para que lo consideren en presupuesto.

The suite was clean and spacious, very comfortable with the plunge pool on the balcony. Very good service in the restaurants and at the pool
