Hacienda Los Picachos

Hola, Todo excelente, excepto que tuvimos que llamar porque no salía agua caliente en la regadera.

Es el hotel más bonito que he conocido en San Miguel de Allende. Precioso el pasto. Las vistas del Aire del servicio, las habitaciones, la Linpieza, la gente que te ayuda con tu equipaje. Las Amara1 la Recepcion en verdad empezamos volver. Muy seguido como segundo Hogar

Salí al centro por la noche y al regresar, mi cuarto estaba inundado, había demasiadas goteras y no pude hacer uso de la habitación. No pudieron resolverme a las 11pm porque el gerente no contestaba las llamadas y tuve que pasar la noche en mi camioneta. En la mañana me ofrecieron ir a desayunar mientras me daban solución y en el huevo estrellado que pedí, había pedazos de un chimen, le comenté a la mesera y lo único que dijo fue “Ay posiblemente será de algún chapulín porque en cocina también trabajan con chapulines” y no me cambiaron mi plato ni me dio solución. A la fecha no me han resuelto mi reembolso ni dado solución en nada porque el gerente se tomó el día por ser domingo. Les reservé 3 habitaciones, pésimo servicio.

El hotel es muy lindo y el personal muy servicial, pero las habitaciones tenían goteras. Íbamos un grupo muy grande y la mayoría teníamos goteras en las habitaciones. El hotel necesita mantenimiento urgente.

Beautiful hotel with great location and customer service

We booked this Hacienda because it looked quirky and cool to explore from the pictures, and we were interested in a pool for our kids. Overall, it was fine, but I wouldn’t go back. and I wouldn’t consider it a “VIP experience”. Upon our non-cancelable booking, the Hacienda messaged us via Expedia’s messaging system that the “included breakfast” was only for the 2 adults, not the 2 children on the reservation. I rechecked to see if this was noted upfront, but it wasn’t. This was a bummer because I had selected the property due to an included breakfast (which is important since the property is a 20 minute drive from SMA). It seemed like a bait and switch scheme to require me to pay for 2 additional breakfasts. When I received this surprising note (literally 2 minutes after booking my non-cancelable reservation), I tried to message through the messaging app, but ultimately couldn’t figure out how to message them back. It’s important to note that the Hacienda is about a 15-20 minute drive from SMA. We didn’t have a car on-site. Ubers wouldn’t pick us up at the Hacienda entrance, so we were required to walk ~5 minutes down the Hacienda’s long cobblestone driveway to catch an Uber into the city. It was very cold in the rooms at night - bring extra layers. We were initially provided with one space heater for the 2 room suite. When we asked, they brought us another. The staff were pleasant enough. I wouldn’t come back.
