Lovely place, yoga and Chi- kung available The only issue was that I asked one of the employees to ask for a taxi to take me to the bus station but instead they told the taxi driver to take me to Chalo. I was confused and concerned about my safety

Beautiful space, meticulously cared for and very special ambience. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. We took advantage of the spa services, the temazcal, and ate wonderful food at the restaurant on-site. We can't wait to go back!!

I’ve stated here before bits it’s been awhile. Too much noise! The employees carry walkie talkies and are heard everywhere all the time. We got a massage and the window was positioned out to the area where again nose and people talking loud. We ordered food and the plates were not picked up until after we got back from a wedding we went too and only because we went to complain. At breakfast another guest was smoking. No one said anything. We got up and left. The hotel is a treat, healthy mindful place and big enough for the smoker to go a smoke in a designated area. Overall the hotel has lost its punch.

I’m still basking in the glow of my incredible stay at Hostal de la Luz in Tepoztlán! This enchanting retreat is truly a haven of peace and tranquility, with an energy that feels almost palpable. Even though I arrived at 2am the night manager welcomed me with open arms and made me feel safe and taken care of. During the course of my stay all the staff were really friendly and accommodating despite the fact that I don’t speak very good Spanish. The real highlight was the Renaissance Temazcal experience - it was transformative! The ceremony was led with such care and intention, and I felt deeply connected to the earth, my breath, and my own inner wisdom. If you're looking for a place to nourish your body, mind, and spirit, look no further than Hostal de la Luz. With love and gratitude to this special place 🙏❤️

Desde el jueves hasta el domingo, hubo mucho ruido relacionado con fiestas en la noche. No estaban relacionadas con el hotel, eran en otro sitio alejado del mismo, pero el ruido era elevado. Fuera de esto fue una estancia placentera.

Lo único malo fue que tuvimos un gran inconveniente , me encontré entre las sábanas unos calcetines sucios o sea dormí con ellos ya que me di cuenta hasta el otro día y por eso dudo de la limpieza hasta si cambiaron mis sábanas

El lugar ya pasó por sus mejores años; fui huésped unos años atrás y hoy ha decaído totalmente, se nota en el mantenimiento, la atención y la cantidad de staff que tienen es limitado. Nuestra experiencia con el personal de recepción, spa y restaurante se resume en que están saturados y se les perciben cansados e indiferentes. No tengo ninguna razón para regresar ni para recomendarlo. Saludos.
