Hotel and Restaurant CONTE

Gorgeous room with a beautiful view of the sea and mountains. Very comfy bed and nice shower. Lovely, helpful staff. We paid for parking just outside the center of Perast. You may have to wait a while for parking as the lot is small and there are many people trying to park there for its proximity to Perast. The breakfast was excellent with a lovely selection of hot and cold items. Would highly recommend!

Great location. Unfortunately the experience at the reception was negative. First they disputed that I had already paid through Expedia and secondly they argued (even though the Amex logo is on their website and payment device that they accept Amex). Both things were apparently not true / the stay was paid for thru Expedia with Amex. The worst part was that they didn’t answered any of my email or Expedia messages. They went dark. I had to dispute the charge through my bank. Bummer as the rest was nice.

The hotel is located by the bay. The restaurant is a must. The staff is helpful. We enjoyed the time we spent there

Très belle hôtel

Belen at the front desk was amazing. Super responsive via what’s app ahead of our arrival to coordinate parking etc. helped us make dinner reservations and even had a take away breakfast arranged for us and delivered to our room when she learned we’d be leaving earlier than the included breakfast. Absolutely incredible service!

The apartment itself was comfortable, but our stay was overshadowed by poor communication and parking issues. Before arrival, it was impossible to contact the hotel. I called eight times without anyone answering, incurring international calling charges in the process. After arriving, I spent around 30 minutes driving around trying to find the parking allocated for Annex D. Eventually, I parked outside Hotel Conte and asked the parking attendant to call the hotel three times, but still no one answered. As I couldn't leave my car there because of the risk of a fine, I had to run a considerable distance to reception and back in the heat, leaving me exhausted and stressed. I was then told they had only one missed call. A staff member showed me where the allocated parking space was, but when we arrived it was occupied by other cars. No alternative nearby was provided, so we had to park much farther away. Instead of parking just above the apartment, we faced a 30-minute walk with many stairs every time we needed the car. We had to do this three times during our stay, which added unnecessary inconvenience and stress. There was also a power outage for over an hour at around 11 p.m. due to a storm. I understand this was outside the hotel's control, but it meant we couldn't get ready for bed or use the apartment during that time. The accommodation itself was good, but the lack of communication and the unresolved parking situation significantly affected our experience.

So welcoming and accommodating from the late pickup at the parking lot to the entire stay and drop off back to the car. From the beginning they stayed in touch helping to make sure I found my way to the right parking lot and it was pretty late check in so I was grateful. The chef stayed a bit later to make a meal for me before I went up to my room for the night understanding I had just arrived and came from a bit far away. The check-in was so informative and polite as well as check out. The staff was overall amazing. Highly recommend

Amazing property. Very authentic. amazing staff. Breakfast was just right. Hotel restaurant was perfect. 87 steps up to annex. Not so much lol but what do you expect from a 17th century village. View was amazing.

The city of Perast is amazingly beautiful. Staff was all very nice. Phillip was especially helpful. Communication/ organization at the hotel was not the best for parking, luggage, check in/out. The room was nice. Breakfast buffet was delicious. There was a pool, but the property is so spread out, the pool was 15 minute walk from our room, with a bar, but no toilet available. Overall great stay. I would stay there again if i return to Perast.

Our room was in an annex building which meant that it was a couple of Blocks down the road away from the main hotel and restaurant. The good Part is that the pool was above our annex.

Lovely stay!

We loved everything about our stay! The staff went above and beyond on everything! We can not say enough good things! Accommodations are not all in one place but close by and Hotel Conte will get you where you need to go in Perast! The room was wonderful! Breakfast was excellent every day and a bonus to sit out on the water! Perast is like a postcard. In early June, the mornings were calm, the tourists arrived for the afternoon and the evenings peaceful. We stayed 3 nights and loved it. Taxi to Kotor for the day, Bus back… Make sure you eat dinner at the restaurant too!

Very enjoyable stay within Perast - though with two rooms reserved for my family, we were somewhat separated as the property is not a single building (instead an assortment of accommodations in various buildings around town). Fortunately, Perast is small and easily walkable, plus Conte offers shuttle service in electric golf carts. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Personnel are helpful and friendly, though the communication regarding parking can be improved. Any potential guests that park at one of the parking areas outside of town should be advised that you will need to walk to the auto "gate" to meet the shuttle driver. *We weren't advised of this and simply waited by our car - missing the first attempt from a driver.

We thought our room was amazing value for money. We stayed in a sea view room in annexe c. Yes, there are quite a few steps to the rooms but we knew that before we arrived . It didn't bother us as we knew it was compensated by a beautiful view. Even though we didn't have a balcony, there were plenty of terrace areas where you can enjoy a drink and relax. The staff were brilliant, really helpful and the breakfast was great with so much choice. I'm coeliac, I certainly didn't go hungry! We ate 4 times in the restaurant because the food was excellent, the staff were knowledgeable about gluten free and my husband loved the complementary home made bread. They will provide gf bread if you ask.( Obviously not home made) We're so glad we booked the Hotel Conte and stayed in Perast.

Hotel Conte exceeded our expectations in every way. The property is beautiful, the rooms are impeccably maintained, and the atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between elegance and comfort. But what made our stay truly special was a staff member named Dragon. From the moment we arrived, Dragon went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. No request was too small, no detail overlooked. He anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. Whether it was arranging recommendations, ensuring our room was just right, or simply greeting us with warmth every time we crossed paths, Dragon made us feel like true VIP guests. It’s rare to encounter hospitality at this level, and it’s the kind of personal touch that turns a good hotel stay into a lasting memory. Hotel Conte is lucky to have him on their team.

The location of the hotel is good but it's spread across 3 buildings so it's not always the main building. The breakfast was good and their restaurant is at a nice location. Hotel was unfortunately not responsive via Expedia messaging so we had to walk all the way with our luggage. We had power cut during our stay which made it difficult to get ready to leave on time. The return shuttle was also not coming on the requested time and had to call again to remind. Overall good location, decent hotel rooms, good staff but we did have our share of difficulties
