The Ibn Batouta was a great hotel. The staff were all very friendly, the breakfast each morning was excellent, the rooftop pool and cafe was beautiful, and the rooms (although a bit small) were clean and quiet. The location of the hotel seemed perfect as it was walkable to the popular areas, sites, and Souks. We would recommend this hotel to all travellers.

Check in was straight forward. English speaking staff. We had a couple of issues, bathroom lock kettle but they fixed it. They have a construction next door but that's out of their hands. Staff are polite, helpful, respectful. The area is great and really busy with lots of shops to eat within walking distance. Breakfast was basic.

The pool, staff and location were great. The lack of pillows on the bed was strange and the shower was really gross. Lots of mold. The first night our room was terrible. Broken closet, shower moldy and leaked all over the bathroom floor. They were very kind and moved us the next day to a larger room.

Hotel is nice, breakfast was ok. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. Nearby there is a lot of modern shopping areas with big brands but also you are only a 30 minute walk from the medina. There is a few nice parks in the area too. The room itself was clean except for the shower in the bathroom which had a bit of mold round the grouting. You can hear the calls to prayer quite loudly from the nearby speaker so if youre a light sleeper bring ear buds. We were woken up by people walking around in the hallway area, they werent being loud but we could hear them very loudly because the doors dont seal very well. The Air condition was good and worked well

Solo trip for 24 hours. I know the area go gueliz and it was great location. Bed was comfortable and room was really high standard. Plenty of towels and hairdryer. Shampoo bottle was empty but I think this was a mistake. High standards of cleanliness. Hotel has quest theme and was a nice touch to celebrate Ibn battutua Breakfast had a lot of variety drinks , hot option, fruit yoghurts, bread and moroccan pancakes. plenty of tables and very attentive staff. I would happily stay here again as it was good value and great location. thanks all staff.

The location was great, very close to tourist attraction, plenty of Convenient stores and restaurant within walking distance. Staff were welcoming and polite, we were checked in an hour before our check in time, breakfast was nice but not plenty options to choose from we had same thing every morning.The cleanliness of our room wasn't good enough, our room was cleaned every afternoon but the curtains in our bedroom was dirty and dusty, our bed sheet wasn't changed in the 4 nights we spent it was only rearranged, the toilet bin was so rusty, soap dispenser was dirty, we got clean towel everyday but again those towels needs changing. It's an affordable place to stay more or less a 3 star hotel so I'm not surprise but I enjoyed my stay regardless.

Nothing wrong with the property itself, it was a clean and well maintained hotel. I think it would help travelers immensely if booking sites like Expedia start showing property age along side other amenities. I do travel a lot and can report that the bathroom in the room I stayed could be a top contender for world’s tiniest bathroom.

First time in Marrakech. Grateful to have stayed at Hotel Ibn Batouta. Gueliz is a great location. It is a short taxi ride to the ever bustling Medina. Yet, it is a little quieter than the busy touristy Medina. Hotel Ibn Batouta is wonderful. The staff were friendly and welcoming. They bent over backwards to make my stay memorable. Absolutely loved their helpfulness. There are two swimming pools. One pool is on the first floor next to the restaurant. The second pool is on the rooftop. The staff made my stay just amazing. I asked questions and every staff member was willing to help and advise. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. If I return to Marrakech I will stay in Hotel Ibn Batouta again. Highly recommend.

I love this hotel. I’ve stayed at the Ibn Batouta several times during my visits to Marrekesh. Hamza always greets me with a big smile and makes me feel like I’m part of the family. The front desk staff are always very warm and welcoming. The Hotel is in a great location in Gueliz and is very close to great shopping centers and amazing restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel.
