Great central location to explore all of Amsterdam! Very clean, friendly staff, great wifi, and AC works well. I would highly recommend to friends and family and would stay there again myself next time I’m in town.

The hotel is retrofitted into an old residential building (which is not uncommon). However, getting to the room is like going through a maze of narrow, thick carpetted corridors, and stairs - extremely difficult and hazardous if you have heavy luggage to carry. Definitely not appropriate for the elderly or people with disabilities.

The manager, Tim, was superb. He went above and beyond to insure our comfort. My wife is handicapped and when informed she had trouble with the size of the tub, he moved us to a more friendly room to make it easier on us. He provided personal care and attention and really made our stay enjoyable.

Very clean hotel, helpful staff even stored our baggage for us while we waited for our room to be ready when we arrived earlier. This allowed us to go and get food and explore while we waited for the room. The location was great too, very close to street cars and many things were walkable.

This hotel is walking distance from the major museums in the area, which is a great plus. The hotel staff was hit or miss. We noticed that there were only one to two receptionists behind the desk even though at times there was a long line of people who were waiting. The office was right next door and you can hear the others in there just hanging out.
