I can say that it is a hotel with a modern structure, but its rooms do not have intercoms with the concierge, they do not have a simple coffee maker to heat water for tea or coffee available, it does not have a refrigerator with drinks. We had also requested a queen bed and received two single beds joined together, which was very uncomfortable. Finally, despite the technology, we did not have access to a TV considering the difference in networks that each cell phone has. Smartphone TV with apps included would be a good option. Even if these details could be overcome that would make it a 5-star hotel, there is one detail that must be taken into account, which I consider important, and that is the location of the property, which is very beautiful, but it is not a public transportation just 15-minute away walk to area with access public transportation. Private vehicles are not effective because the cost to get to the city center, which is the most common destination, is very low cost and not very beneficial, which makes me suggest that the hotel should have a car service that helps passengers at least get to the public transportation stop both ways, the cost would be minimal considering the cost of the accommodations at this hotel.

The niu was located in a suburban area with little convenience or places to eat out. Not even any tea or coffee facilities in the room. The restaurant had very little choice of food options but the breakfast the next morning was very good. On check out, the receptionist was very unhelpful in booking us a location. She insisted on a precise address despite getting location information from the viking crew.

The hotel is away from the centre of Amsterdam, however it's only a short bus ride to the centre of the city. There is not much in the way of eateries nearby with only limited food options at the hotel itself.

I will absolutely be booking this hotel for future trips to Amsterdam. I love the area, feels very safe and clean and on a beautiful waterfront. The rooms are large, mine felt like a suite. The main reason I would book this hotel again was the staff. Every person working there was so kind and sweet to my family after a very early flight. Throughout the duration of our 2 day stay they just went above and beyond.

Not sure why Expedia name is holiday inn the nui, no where in hotel holiday inn mentioned, it’s just the nui, very limited connectivity with main city area, not much amenities in room

Loved it. Great hotel and staff. 15 mins bike ride to main centraal station. Not much around but everything was perfect

Communication and all staff very helpful

This is a beautiful hotel. I knew we couldn't go bad by picking a Holiday Inn, after seeing all the other options in Amsterdam. We were greeted by nice receptionists that spoke pretty fluently in English which was a huge bonus after our week in Germany. The rooms are large and clean, the bathrooms are a good size as well with rainfall showers. Huge shout out to Niki for his help and knowledge, and the lady behind the bar for her waitress skills (we got dinner there as well). If I had to pick a downfall of staying here, it'd be location. You're walking for at least 25 mins one way to get to something in the town. Not a whole lot next to the hotel yet. There are welcome books at the hotel though which have coupons!! We booked a harbor view room which gave a beautiful wrap around view if the city.

Property fun and funky to the eye! Unfortunately the maids cleaning the rooms started very early from 8 which caused a high pitch noise every day. We asked them to stop but it kept continuing. It was disappointing that there was no tea or coffee making facilities in the room and if you wanted a coffee you had to go down stairs

Although Hotels.com cancelled my reservation from the hotel instead of showing me as a no-show for late check-in, hotel staff was extremely helpful for finding a solution at the spot. I might not have a place to stay if it wasn't for their incredible kindness to offer me one of the available rooms. I'm terribly sorry that I forgot her name but If i remember correctly Mariana(The hotel manager) is one of the nicest people you can find around Amsterdam. Thanks to her and other crew members for their kindness and helpfullness. In addition you can rent a bike from the hotel also, so that was a great plus for me. Once again thanks to everyone who made me feel welcomed

We had a good hotel room. A lot of people had trouble with the check in because of payment. The tv didn’t really work with connecting by the phone

The location of the hotel is so safe to the point that you wont be scared to walk at night.

Wonderful place to stay, easy to get to Amsterdam Central once you’ve sorted a travel card NICKI was very helpful in getting us checked in and helping us with the best things to do in Amsterdam. Would highly recommend staying here if you don’t mind a little commute to Amsterdam Central Starion
