The room was a good size but the design lacked storage. Lots of wood panelling and I kept hoping for a cabinet. Also strange that there were no full length mirrors The location was in a a suburban neighbourhood with a few grocery stores in the vicinity It takes approximately 30 minutes to get into the city centre, including a 8-10 minute walk to trams. I would highly recommend taking the breakfast which was delicous! Clearly marked gluten free options which was greatly appreciated. The hotel is good value in expensive Amsterdam.

Great experience at the Met. Very well kept, great breakfast, and easy access to several trains. It’s important to know it’s in a relatively residential area, not in the thick of the tourist areas, so restaurants, and attractions are a train or bike ride away. For us that was a plus. Only minor critique was that we could have used a mini fridge because multiple grocery stores are nearby but the room was otherwise comfortable and well appointed. The bar area/front desk doubles as an Internet cafe of sorts so it was a cool mix of people throughout the day. We were very happy all around.

This is a very nice modern hotel with garage parking if required. Good shower although the configuration is not traditional and lacks privacy personally I prefer to have a normal bathroom. It’s easy to get the metro into the centre. The staff though are the highlight of this hotel. All were so helpful and willing to go the extra mile.

This is a relatively small hotel, but clean and comfortable. The room was modern and well-designed. The hotel has a 24 hour bar, and also a restaurant. It's very convenient for metro and rail, and is only 30 minutes from Schipol airport.

The accommodation is good with optimal air conditioning, and always clean. Limited to pizza for evening meals and that was disappointing given it’s not close to restaurants and you would have to go into the city centre. Otherwise all the staff are lovely and very helpful.

Staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable with great tech features for convenience. There was no chair in the room or shelf in the shower so a little pain if I just wanted to sit somewhere other than the bed and having to put toiletries on floor to use in shower. Not conveniently located to central Amsterdam but public transport or uber or walking address this.

We had a perfect stay at the Met hotel. The rooms were spotless with great amenities, and the staff were lovely and very helpful. It is a bit far out from the city centre, but we actually really enjoyed getting the tram or the metro into the centre each morning - there's a station very close to the hotel. If we come back to Amsterdam we will definitely be returning here :)

I had an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience at this hotel, and I strongly advise others to avoid it. Housekeeping broke the door in my room and initially blamed me for the damage. However, there was clear video evidence showing that the housekeeper caused the damage themselves. Despite this, the situation was handled poorly and without any accountability. The manager on site was also very unprofessional and rude. He repeatedly complained about having to be there from 7pm to midnigh on a sunday? My problem? I dont think so which is completely inappropriate behaviour when dealing with guests. His attitude made an already stressful situation much worse. I was also wrongly accused of smoking in the room due to ash found on the side, which was not mine. Making accusations without proper investigation is unacceptable and unprofessional To make matters worse, the air conditioning did not work in any of the rooms. Even though the manager insisted it was working, it clearly was not, which made the stay very uncomfortable. Overall, this was a terrible experience caused by poor staff conduct, false accusations, and lack of basic room functionality. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and suggest avoiding it at all costs.

Clean and beautiful room, loved the layout. Great for solo travelers, especially female. The staff was very helpful and kind. Would highly recommend this hotel. One train stop from the airport and nice bus ride to Centraal Station.
