What we booked and asked for was three single beds. We got a double bed and sofa bed. When I showed the staff my request and their response, they shrugged their shoulders. No care in the world to three 60+ men. My bach aches and so does my colleagues. Had they responded with, sorry no triple room with single beds available, we could have booked elsewhere where. But no. They were happy to take our heard earned money and give us a room with no air conditioning. Apparently only the super duper rooms have air conditioning. Wonderful. Staff at reception are rude and uncaring. The hotel carpets seem as they have not been hoovered for ages or washed. I have photos of cigarette but on the floor not cleaned since the first morning. Not happy at their attitude or Expedia for again failing in their jobs. Other hotel sites are much better and I will probably never use Expedia again.

DOUBLE CHECK your city tax amount during check-in!! We were charged an extra of €40 city tax during check in due to the hotel’s mistake.
Poor customer service with no apology from any staff members. Felt mistreated and discriminated throughout the whole experience.

Hotel has central air con system. So you can't control the room temperature. The heater in room doesn’t seems to be working. The room pillows provided are so soft and flat. The only plus point about the hotel is the locations. It is centrally located near shopping and restaurant. Also 10min walk to Rotterdam centre station.

I needed to use the room safe for my stay. There were no instruction and I had 4 visits to reception to try and solve the matter of how to unlock or use the safe. Finally reception came to my room and managed to explain the working of the safe. When they left i followed the instruction they ha given me only to find the procedure did not work. What they didn't tell me was that you had to be super quick to open the safe once you had completed the input of the code (and I mean SUPER QUICK)
Also on the second day my room was not serviced.
I have stayed here before and had no issues. it just seemed that there was a lack of interest this time.

A very nice hotel, very friendly staff and a fantastic choice for breakfast. The one negative point is the lack of telling new guests about the ‘correct’ use of the room card, with reference to use at the elevators and also at your room door. Otherwise all a big 👍 😎 🙏

The windows in some rooms are modern, but in some rooms they’re ancient single pane windows, some of those rooms also face the street, where on Thursday nights for the entire night everyone seems to like honking.
We asked at the front desk and they confirmed that it’s normal to have near constant honking at night on a Thursday, We didn’t bother asking about Fridays. If you’re lucky your window will face away from the main road, ours did not…

Very disappointing room at the back of the building. Lots of noise from airco from neighbouring building, so had to keep the window closed. No views -- just looking at blinded windows from office buildings a couple of meters away. This doesn't count as value for money I fear.

After we book our room and checking our room was so hot and I ask them our room it’s very hot they told our room doesn’t come with AC which was ridiculous and look at their site never mentioned that our standard room doesn’t come with AC which is miss leading and we ask to change our room they said they are book that was horrible night to sleep with no AC

We like the NH Atlanta. The hotel is functional, clean and comfortable. The staff are great and it’s a great base for all things Rotterdam. We have been a number of times and it never disappoints. If you need to park, the Q park is next door and the metro and tram are at the end of the street.
