Extremely dirty. Very loud area at night. Only the cleaning person and two of the receptionists were actually attentive and friendly. There is no lift and the stairs are crazy work. That by itself is not a problem but it is if you happen to travel with seniors, children, lower complications. Its conveniently located but that's really all it has going for it. Wouldn't stay here again. Would rate one star but I only have two more for the hard working cleaning guy who seems to be the only one having to do every single thing by himself and the two other sweet receptionists.

The location was ok, close to trams. There was no elevator which made bringing luggage in painfully difficult. Shared bath small and dirty, room very small and lacked outlets for charge and other needs. Staff not too engaged except for Alexandra

I will start saying that the staff was friendly and helpful and that the location of the hotel is really good. Although the hotel didn’t meet our expectations at all. Our room was located on the fourth floor and the lift was not in operation. There were three small beds (really small, I couldn’t even turn on my side) and a small sink in the corner. The floor wasn’t clean and the chair looked like they took it out of a 200 year old witch house. Nothing to do with the photos on the website! Not only they don’t match with the actual place, either they’ve been taken from another hotel or highly altered.

The property is in a great location and the staff is very accommodating. Only thing is that the building is a little outdated and there is no "lift" or elevator to get you up to the 4th floor if that is where you are staying. Walking up the stairs can be a drag but other than that, its a good place for the price.

The bed was comfortable. Check-in on August 11, 2025, was with a very grumpy and rude woman. One of the two toilets on the ground floor was broken. The elevator is out of order (broken). The beer tap at the reception desk is broken, and the light of the nameplate outside is also broken. There is one toilet per floor and one bathroom for both floors 3 and 4. One towel per room for three people in the room.

I had emailed the property in advance that I would like to check in 2 hrs early. When I arrived the room wasn’t available and would be at the regular check in time. I did end up using the shared shower and toilet. The leaving my stuff in the closet. The staff were helpful and accommodating. This is my second time staying at this hotel but this time solo. I forgot how noisy it is outside. There’s a heater in the room but no AC (which makes sense because it’s an old building), so my window was open. Throughout the night, people would be yelling in the streets. I noticed that even if the window was closed, there’s a whole broken into the window for ventilation purposes. Bed, pillow and blanket wise was fine. I found that comfortable. Shared toilet and shower is interesting because it’s timed. So you have to wave your hand to make sure it senses your presence. Water temp and pressure was fine. There is shampoo/body wash and conditioner. I remembered the stairs. Which is the spirally stairs. I only stayed 2 nights so I had a small carry on suitcase. I remembered last year there were 3 of us and we had carry on and a large suitcase. So it can be tiring to go up that many stairs esp if tired from travelling. I found the location very convenient to the central station and convenient to everything else.

Staff dismissed all problems, room dusty and dirty, not clean at all. Side table had marks from the people before, hair on the shower wall, stain mark on headboard and many other issues that fall under a “filthy room”. This is more like a hostel. I concluded this is terrible stay. I stayed in share bath room, and the bath room is dimmed , shampoo used up and no refill until 2 days later. People stayed at my floor are very noise even at mid night. The wall between the rooms like paper, I can even feel the people walking outside since my bed will shake. Can’t really sleep. Also , no elevator. You have to carry your luggages up to your floor. Only one thing to appreciate, the staffs are helpful and nice.
