Socialtel Granada

The staff were extremely accommodating and went a bit above and beyond to make her stay as great as possible.

I had stayed at Socialtel when it was a Selena property 3 years ago. They maintained offering programming which is great. Seems to be a lower season so it wasn’t very busy. Most staff were pleasant. Room was darker than I expected but it had what we needed for a one night stay.

They are impossible to contact through email, phone, etc. Never heard anything from them about my reservation.

This hotel is not worth the trouble. After booking I contacted them through WhatsApp. We confirmed my room and some excursions they would set up. When I arrived they gave me a room next to the pool that looked nothing like the pictures. The first floor was loud with booming music that made it sound like one of the cheap shoe stores in Managua. Someone at the pool was playing different music thst was even louder so I asked to be moved. They moved me to the third floor and you could still hear the music, quieter but still to loud if you wanted to sleep before 10pm when they turned it off. That room had a bed and a bed table but no other furniture and the only window looked into someone else's patio. The entire week I was there I had no hot water. I didn't receive instructions for my excursion so I tried contacting them several times. The night before I still hadn't received instructions for where to meet at 6:30am so I went to the front desk and asked. They had no record of my reservations. I showed them my WhatsApp messages and they said there was nothing they could do. I threatened to cancel my stay and find a different hotel so they booked something last minute. I did change all of my other excursions to other companies. You do not get what is pictured online. All totaled it was a very poor experience and not worth the premium they charge. I met other travelers that were staying at smaller, much nicer hotels nearby and paying much less.

I can’t say enough good things about my stay. The location is fabulous. It’s a beautiful building. But what really stood out was the amazing staff. Every single person there knew me by name and we’re always so lovely and kind to me. I felt always at home and cared for. Everybody always went out of their way to make sure my stay was good and that I was having a good day. On my birthday they brought me a surprise cake and just really treated me so special. Housekeeping was great. Everything was clean and comfortable. Their traditional breakfast is the best. I will miss them very much. It was a home away from home. Thank you for being such a wonderful host for me. I will treasure my time at your hotel.

Hotel was lovely. Just the right amount if quirkiness and staff were very helpful. Breakfast was lovely too. The room was tiny but it served a purpose and was right next to the shared bathroom (which hardly anyone else was using)

Room was clean and the staff was courteous but I wish they would’ve included a bedside lamp.

Location

The Breakfast was good they only have two types of breakfast when is included in the room it was good. The air conditioning was perfect specially with the heat it cool the room fast. The only thing there was no hot water and they should change the shower head not much water comes out.

I booked a 3 day stay and requested to move my days and the staff made the accommodation but I then had an emergency and needed to change and the staff was so unpleasant as if they did not want to help me at all or even refund me the days I did not stay there. I lost 2 days of my money and I will never return to the hotel.

Worst hotel I have had in Granada. Been coming to Granada for the last 15 years and this is the worst. No hot water. No TV. And they charge like they were a 5 star hotel. NEVER AGAIN.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff! Room and bathroom need a little help with cleanliness but I would stay there again!

Great hotel in the middle of the city, the pool was really nice too as I went during the summer and needed it from long walks into town. Room. Had cold AC which was nice too. The staff was very friendly, and the hotel organizes events which was great. Definitely recommend!

Hotel is on a good location, nothing extraordinary, is ok for the money.

Great place to stay while in Granada. It sits in front of the main plaza with plenty of amenities around the hotel. Excellente hotel

Awesome place to stay in Granada! Excellent location - right in the heart of things on Plaza Mayor and right across from the Cathedral. Nice courtyard and pool areas. Great breakfast included. The staff were super helpful. Would highly recommend!
