Quechuas House hostal & coffee

[DO NOT BOOK THIS] This is a SCAM!!! The hostel is already shut down. When I arrive at the hotel, there is no hostel staff at the reception. The staff in the coffee shop (located on the 1st floor) do not know anything about the hostel (located on the 2nd and 3rd floor). All the rooms are empty, and all the windows are open. Tried to call the phone number on the wall. No one picked up the call. Wi-Fi Code not working. I booked through Expedia. Expedia Chatbot are not helping or connecting me with a human agent for assistance. I spent an extra cost to book another hostel nearby. Expedia said the booking is completed (but I did not check in at all) and Expedia refused to refund. I don't think Expedia is doing any verification on their accommodation partner. This is definitely a scam. A very big scam!

The room was spacious and bright, very clean. The only downside is they didn't have a hairdryer available, not a big deal but would have been nice since the weather was cool.

Very comfy and cute set up, rooms, and courtyard! Great location in terms of accessibility to food, drinks, shops, restaurants, cafes, public transport! Quite noisy until about 11pm at night, though - not in the property itself, but coming from celebrations in the main Plaza of Ollantaytambo. Good Shower - one of best I had in Peru!!

First they gave me a room in a worse category that I've booked. Also the area is a bit noisy everyday until midnight, and they have a coffeshop at the bottom which they start playing music at 7:20 in the morning. In overall if you don't care about the noises, is not a bad choice.

Would not recommend staying at this hotel. Our room was not ready when we arrived and it seemed like they did not know about our reservation. Room was very smelly, parts were dirty and the humidity was super high. Also the shower was leaking, which lead to lots of water in the bathroom. The room also had no window. We were also not informed about the construction work downstairs, it started at 7:45am and they were hammering until 8pm. Would definitely not have booked this room if we would have known in advance.

No incluye desayuno pero la planta de abajo es una cafetería y hay muchas más por la zona. El hotel está en la parte alta lo que da mayor tranquilidad. Si te gusta el ruido del agua pide con ventana exterior. Hay una cascada preciosa y aguas termales muy cerca. La salida de buses a Machupichu está muy cerca. Hay un restaurante con terracita bajando la calle con platos variados y riquísimos que incluyen propuestas vegetarianas. Se llama Magguis Grill Craft Beer. Recomendable. Pancho y sus compis son super amables!

Hotel muito bom, ótima cama, Tv enorme, internet ok, e vista do quarto espetacular. Recomendo muito, já me hospedei 2x nele.

The room was clean and the window was right infront of a little park so it was really nice. It was a good size room and we had enough storage. We didn't have toilet seat and when I asked if they could arrange that, they just said that to have a toilet seat, we would need to change room to one with no window. We kept our room with a window but didn't understand the concept. When we asked the first time to refil the toilet paper, we received it right away, the second time, we didn't receive answer and we had to buy some. For the price, it was fair, just be sure to take a room with a window.

No había nadie en recepción, tuvimos que irnos a otro lado

Das Zimmer war sauber und zweckmäßig ausgestattet. Leider war die Rezeption nicht besetzt und man hat uns trotz mehrfachen anrufens 30 Minuten warten lassen. Wie es schien, war auch das Zimmer nicht vorbereitet, da Handtücher usw. erst hingelegt wurden.
