What Guests Say About Their Stay

Sol Natura is a wonderful small, friendly, comfortable and clean hotel set beside a beautiful garden ( flowers and birds), surrounding a covered courtyard lobby furnished with comfortable couches and tables amidst tall trees and flowers. The rooms, although small, had all the necessary amenities, and it is pleasant to sit in courtyard or garden if one wants more space for reading or playing board games. The free breakfast buffet is delicious and complete with servers eager to please. There is also a piano in the DR. The staff, including the manager-who is fluent in English-,were exceptionally accommodating. This is a family owned and operated business. They care about their guests.

Lovely quiet hotel with a garden and serene views of nearby mountains. We enjoyed our stay. The only advice would be not to buy water from the front desk. They wanted 10 soles for 2 liters of water - it is only 5 soles in a gas station across the street.

Pros: Beautiful property, not to far from the train station or the town (5-10) minutes depending on pace. Friendly staff. Cons: Toiletries a little weak, no hot water for tea, wasn’t thrilled with the water pressure (non adjustable shower head). I would stay there again though no problem.

Sol Natura is a hidden gem! It's not quite walking distance from the train station, especially with luggage but, it's a very short and inexpensive cab ride. Cabs are readily available at the station and from the hotel. The hotel itself was amazing!!!! The room was fantastic, the staff extremely friendly and the landscaping truly remarkable. It was an absolute pleasure to stay here and the hotel even allowed us to stow our luggage when we passed through early in the morning on our way to Machu Picchu.

Our stay was wonderful! We loved the hotel and felt it was in a perfect location and on a safe street. The room was clean with new comfortable beds and bedding. The shower always had hot water and fresh water to drink. It was a 5 minute walk to the train station and charming town square . The grounds were beautiful with flowers and water features everywhere as well as a pretty onsite restaurant with a fresh breakfast and omelettes on request. Our room faced the ancient ruins with a view of snow covered mountains and the sound of a rushing river across the street. The best part part was the friendly staff who always had a smile on there face even after our 3000 th question! Luis helped us with tickets and arranged a driver to take us back to the airport. We would recommend this hotel as it was perfect for a day trip to Machu Pichu!

We were surprised at how homey and beautiful this hotel turned out to be . A small minimart on the left and a nice Resturant on the right . The manager Derek was very helpful . He packed breakfast for our group of 6 , which we took with us and ate in Inka Rail . Our luggage was stored in Sol Natura and Derek met us at the train station on our way back . We had a very easy ride back to Cusco in a van arranged by Derek .

Very good location close to train, town, and ruins. Can roll suitcases on paved streets in front of hotel (can not roll on cobbled streets in old quarter). Breakfast good. Very helpful Luis at front desk. Everyone pleasant. Room adequate. Bathroom is a nice western style bathroom w shower only. No ac or heat or window screens which seems to be standard in this area. Plenty hot water for showers. Good breakfast. I'd stay again bec of location and its decent.
