Citadines Salcedo Makati

I’ve been staying at Citadines Salcedo Makati Hotel and Residences whenever I’m in Makati for the past three years, and it continues to exceed my expectations every single time. It has truly become my go-to hotel. The service is consistently outstanding. From the front desk and restaurant staff to housekeeping and the security guards, everyone is professional, friendly, and genuinely committed to making every stay comfortable. The security team is especially attentive and always on point, creating a safe and welcoming environment. What stands out most is how accommodating every employee is. They consistently go above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service, making guests feel valued and appreciated. Hotel management should be proud to have such an incredible team. Every employee deserves recognition for their dedication, hard work, and commitment to excellence. The room was okay, there was a damp towel smell but other than that is was fine. The front desk staff are all friendly and helpful. The biggest let down was the breakfast, poor service (read that as ignored), no cutlery on the table, a 15 minute wait for coffee (asked 3 times), longer for an orange juice (which was terrible/undrinkable), food arrived with large gaps before we all got food to the point the first person was finished, food was cold, no water offered to our table, I could go on. All this while others after us were being served. We ate breakfast just down the road but gave it a second chance on our last morning, service was better but no A/C, the room was hotter than the food that, again, arrived cold after a lengthy wait (so cooking to order annot be the excuse!). When we arrived we were told, no pool after a day of our arrival and no gym. There was no prior notice of this when we booked. This is the second time i've stayed here, it will be my last, there are plenty of other serviced apartments in Makati where we have had flawless experiences to go back to one that disappointed us so much.

Room condition is average, there is some kind of food smell maybe because it has kitchen facility. Air con unit is directly blowing at bed & it's noisy too, makes sleeping very uncomfortable. Air quality from the air unit feels dirty. I feel there is still room for improvement in term of cleanliness level, for the price paid for. Breakfast is not great, I have tummy problem with the breakfast. For the room rate paid for, I feel it's overpriced for this type of standards.

Definitely a great place to stay. The unit was clean, comfortable, spacious and equipped with everything you need. It is well located with coffee shops, convenience stores, parks and restaurants around. The staff members are the super stars here--helpful, friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.

Excellent staff

The room was clean with enough storage space. The shower had excellent water flow and washing supplies available. Room was on the 35th floor but the lift was very quick. The breakfast space was limited in size. Staff were very polite and helpful, thanks to them

Clean, modern, very nice but pictures are a tiny bit misleading. Also had an electricity shut down for a scheduled repair. No A/C for a while. You cant go wrong staying here.
