Every review here mentions how hospitable and kind the staff are, let me just say, yes! They absolutely are! The rooms are clean, the beds are firm, the shower works hot cold just right, the breakfast is basic but suffices and the location is good, too. But the biggest thing for me here that made a mark is really their welcoming, caring and fun staff! I prefer beachfront establishments, but I recommend this place, too!

This trip is a sudden plan. A last minute one. Anyhow, this hotel took our reservation day before we arrive at this island. We arrive very late as our flight got super delayed. Their front desk guy and their Kuya guard assisted us and made sure we were welcome and very well accommodated even though we just got to the hotel and it was already 1:40 AM. Our food...The stay...Everything on our trip here is definitely a family relaxing trip. Thank you Il Mare Sakura Resort and staff. We'll surely come back.

Me and my friend really enjoyed our stay. Really nice and polite staff. They warmly welcomed us. Ambiance is good. Room is amazing, very spacious, huge beds and clean, it's actually way too comfortable for what we've paid for. Location isn't at the beachfront but it's just around 3 mins walk to the white sand, situated in a quiet area where you can have a good sleep. Food is ok.

Our stay here was nothing short of amazing! The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach and within easy reach of restaurants, shops, and other amenities, which made everything so convenient. What really stood out to us, though, was the level of personalized service. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. They truly deliver 5-star hospitality while still making you feel at home, which is a rare combination. Breakfast was another highlight—fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully tailored to our preferences each morning. It felt less like a standard hotel breakfast and more like a home-cooked experience made just for us. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations in every way. If you’re looking for a stay where comfort, location, and warm hospitality all come together, this is the perfect choice. We’ll definitely be coming back!

NOT SAFE. MY MOM AND SISTER LEFT THEIR PHONES IN THE HOTEL ROOM BECAUSE THEY DON’T WANT TO BRING IT DURING THE WATER ACTIVITIES. WHEN THEY COME BACK AT THE ROOM THE ROOM IS CLEAN AND THE SIM CARD IN THEIR PHONES IS NOT THEIRS ANYMORE. THEY JUST NOTICE IT AFTER THEY GOT BACK TO MANILA. THEIR PHONE IS NOT WORKING / DATA EVEN IF THEY HAVE A PLAN. IT TURNS OUT THAT SOMEBODY FROM THE HOTEL STAFF SWITCHED THEIR SIMCARD. ITS NOT OKAY! THAT IS THEFT. AND MAYBE THEY ARE PLANNING TO USE THE SIM CARD NUMBER TO SCAM PEOPLE FOR GCASH AND TO OPEN THE BANK ACCOUNT OF MY MOM. PLEASE ACT ON THIS MANAGEMENT!!! Review the CCTV who enter our room! Kf you dont act on this incident, I will report your hotel. Thanks.

Very welcoming and respectful staff. Breakfast was fantastic, thanks to Chef’s tasteful menu. Room for group of more than 7 guests is not ideal because of just one bathroom. I would recommend two rooms instead. Thank you Il Mare Sakura for making our vacation more enjoyable. RZC

Great place. Nice clean rooms. Nearby the beach and restaurants. Wifi is better in the hallways than our room was, but was fine. We were on the 4th floor and the steps sometimes were a bit much of having to go up and down. A few times I had to go back and forth in a short time span lol. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast there was good also.
