We arrived in Lisbon very early (630am) so understandably the room wasn't available until the stated time of 3pm. There was a lot of food options in the area for breakfast and dinner - nightlife in the pink street if that's your thing too.
The room was awkward with little counterspace, and having to walk over the foot of the bed to get to the other side, but that's part of the charm.
Breakfast is included which was delicious! The eggs benedict was a very nice touch!

I am so happy we found this hotel. The location was perfect, the room excellent, staff beyond friendly and the included breakfast was delicious and healthy. I can’t recommend Independente Bica enough and would definitely return.

Our family loved this hotel - the only disappointing thing was the brevity of our stay. The kiddo-friendly details, the sustainable choices, and the friendly staff took this hotel to a whole other level. We’ll be back!

Tv didn't work. Breakfast was not the same as in their hotel advertisements. Was told the Japanese style breakfast was discounted a year ago.

I arrived @ 3pm because i wanted a room facing the street. But Nicole refused and gave me a room facing an adjacent building even though there were at least four rooms of the type i was booked to stay in. The room was very clean but the bathroom sink was less than half the normal size.

Wonderful location to explore the city and close to the Time Out Market and lots of other lovely restaurants. The breakfast was really good, a choice of specials and coffee, along with a continental buffet. The room was ok, we were fortunate to be given an upgrade which was nice, it had quite a small bathroom and a bed that you couldn’t walk around so might be tricky if you had mobility issues. It was quirky though, which we liked, so not a problem for us. We would definitely stay here again.

The penthouse is very cool for big groups. I wish I had known that I would have the entire floor and planned for it especially bc we had a group of 10 staying at the property. The view was spectacular for the fireworks on NYE. However, the property can use a bit of updating. Considering we paid $880 USD including taxes for one night, 3 rooms at this property, not sure if it was worth it.

The staff are five stars. The rooms are a bit small but everything is clean. Great location. Loved being able to enjoy breakfast downstairs in the morning. We left my husband’s wallet and medicine in the room and headed to Barcelona. Everyone we spoke with was wonderful. They expedited the items to us which was amazing because without those medications we would have had to skip our cruise. Everything was returned to us. They are honest and were extremely kind. We will return to this hotel ( and will book a larger room!) So grateful.
