Hotel Element Lipno

The hotel was Clean and New with friendly staff. However, the band that was playing in the attached conference room did not finish until 2:30am!!. I was on the 2nd floor and the noise level was bad. I was not warned of this so had i known there was an event until 2:30am i would booked somewhere else.

Clean room, location - ski-in/ski-out

Clean an stunning!!! Got there at midnight an woke up to an amazing view of the ski slopes! Breakfast was soooooo amazing too! They had everything!!!!!

We had a great stay at this hotel. We arrived very late and they were very kind to give us a room for the night. The room was large, elegant and well heated and had a beautiful view to the ski slopes

The accommodation is new and modern, in my opinion very suitable for business meetings. The grounds are nice, everything is functional, the hotel offers a number of facilities (restaurant, pastry shop, 24/7 shop) and summer and winter activities are located in close proximity. The staff is nice, the breakfasts are varied and excellent. I have a negative assessment, above all, of the layout of the room that was assigned to us. The double bed was made up of two singles with a hole between them whenever you moved on the bed. No one was even able to place these two beds correctly in the middle of the room, so the lamp and sockets were above the head of the person lying down. We got a wheelchair-accessible bathroom and instead of a bathtub (which we were looking forward to), we got a shower that couldn't be closed, so the water was all over the bathroom when we showered. At the same time, there was no sofa in the room, which is also shown in the photos. The room was directly above the restaurant and the kitchen could be felt in our room in the afternoon. Upon arrival, the room was missing some basic equipment, which we reported to the reception (they immediately supplied it). We were tired and didn't want to change the room. At €100 per room, it didn't seem like a good deal and I wouldn't choose this hotel again.

The receptionists were friendly and helpful, did check-in and check -out quickly. The room is very clean and the bed is comfortable. The breakfast is good.

This place took me by surprise. A beautiful hotel in a perfect location. Will explore the area later this morning

We stayed 3 nights at the hotel (2 adults and 1 year old kid). The sofa bed was ok for our daughter to sleep, therefore not having a kot was not a problem. The room is spacious , nicely decorated with all the standard amenities. For reference we stayed in the Stodola building which is right next to the main building with the reception, which has lake view. We were viewing the main road , but it was not noisy. This building has the restaurant, where breakfast is served. The breakfast had plenty of options and it was really tasty. We also had dinner one day in the restaurant and it was really good value for money , compared to other restaurants in the area.The location is ideal if you want to visit the whole Lipno region. It is right next to the lift that takes you to the mountain and to the tourist office.You can also drive easily to other places of the region and walk or bike by the waterfront.You might need parking on the hotel parking which is charged with 200 czk per day. A plus of the accomodation was the fact that with the key card of the room you have small discount on entering the ski area ( lift , the lookout tower or the kids area) The staff of the hotel was really helpful and friendly. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and we definitely recommend the hotel for visiting Lipno.

On the day I was supposed to arrive my daughter fell ill with chicken pox. By policy I couldn't cancel anymore. Nevertheless, I requested the hotel to make an exception and allow to reschedule the booking considering my reason for the late cancellation. I emailed and called the hotel a number of times. With few exceptions, the staff had very poor English skills which made communication very challenging. My request was never really considered, I was shown no sympathy or compassion. The only response I ever got was that the as per the hotels cancellation policy I do not get a refund. I even offered to pay any difference in the room rate, but to no avail. I also note, that I have booked one of the most expensive room. I am an experienced traveler, this has happened to me before. In all previous cases my hotels were understanding and have allowed rescheduling or even refunding. All in all, very poor communication and customer service from Hotel Element Lipno - would not book again

It was a perfect stay!

It was overall a nice hotel but the noise at night was unbearable. there was a discotheque in their restaurant and they it was terribly loud until two in the night. I called the reception and she kept telling me it was only to be until midnight. Well, it lasted until 2AM. Terrible!
