Very friendly and accommodating staff on the front desk. Very nice room, and the hotel is really close to a large park, which is much nicer than city centre concrete when you want some fresh air.

This is a lovwly wee hotel with excellent kerb appeal with lesfy plants and flowers and lovely best and tidy door and entryway. Hotel has 4 floors and a lift. You enter at level 1 and level 0 is the restaurant. We were on the 3rd floor and were wowed with the beautiful ornate 4 poster bed and dark rich coloured furniture and gothic full length mirror. The currains were blackout lovely heavy fabric which suited the room completely. The bed was very spacious and extremely comfortable. Ensuite bathroom with bath and shower was modern with a blutooth mirror. Water temp is fully adjustable. Breakfast was buffet style with continental options (fresh breads, fruit, yoghurts) and juices. Theres a salamander for making toast and a full scottish breakfast is available. The food was all lovely and well cooked and both enjoyed it. We would definitely recommend this hotel for its service, the feel of the place the comfort and the food. Theres a bus stop just across the road to take you back into city centre or on same side for further west.

This was our first stay in a new city. The location is so very convenient to all the areas we wanted to visit: Kelvingrove Art Museum and the Huntarian Museum and Art on the University of Glasgow. The hop on hop off redline bus is available just across the street going into city center. You only press a button in to call a taxi, and they arrive very quickly.

I didn't like that I was charged for 4 rooms instead of 2. Also even though l gave them my confirmation code it looks like they charged me again when I checked in as if I was just then purchasing the 2 rooms that according to my bank card statements had already been paid.

We enjoyed our stay. I didn't feel like the reception staff were that bothered. I’d informed the hotel that it was our 10 year wedding anniversary, yet nothing was mentioned to me. We weren’t asked on leaving if we’d enjoyed our stay. This was a one off night off the children so was a special night for us. The room was comfy, but so it should be for the honeymoon suite!

This is an older property but kept clean and in an area near Glasgow Uni. Very pleasant staff with lots of eating, take away and small item shopping nearby. Very reasonable price.

We were staying in the honeymoon suite. It looked nice, and was clean. Sadly the bed was really uneven and uncomfortable, I hardly slept. No sign of the advertised bath robes. Shower pressure not great. Was a double shower.. might be better with all if the water coming out of one. The biggest disappointment was breakfast. There are signs up saying it is £20pp and you are only allowed 2 hot drinks. There were no pastries or anything like that. Just cooked breakfast or cereal. The scrambled eggs were very watery. Based on breakfast alone I probably wouldn't stay here again as I know I could have a much better one in pretty much any other hotel.

Only stayed one night overall good hotel, clean and comfortable bed. Bedroom lamp did not work, very bad chips in the bath which should have been fixed bit dangerous. "Free toiletries" are only hand soap and shower gel, normally "free toiletries" include shampoo/conditioner. Tea coffee facilities in the room but would have been nice to have bottled water for the kettle.

We stayed at this hotel as we were attending a concert at the OVO Hydro. It’s in a perfect location where we had access to the restaurants near by and only a short walk to the area. The room was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

An absolutely perfect stay. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The location couldn’t have been better, and the room was terrific. The beds, blankets, and pillows are vwry comfortable. The water gets HOT on demand, which was so nice for a winter trip. So close to so many great bars and restaurants, including the ones RIGHT next door. I would book this place again, hands down
