Carlton George Hotel

Un rêve! Le staff était vraiment gentil et accommodant, notre chambre propre et confortable. On y a très bien dormi! Et l’emplacement était parfait! 10/10 on a tout aimé! Et pour ceux et celles qui ont les cheveux longs: la douche à une excellente pression! ;)

This hotel is excellent! Central location you can walk everywhere. Right across from Queen street train station for an easy route to Edinburgh. Staff and service very helpful and lovely. Shout out to Patrick!

Got to the hotel abit earlier than check in time and our room was ready which was great after travelling. Minibar was well stocked with great stuff and room was exceptionally clean.

I did not feel that the cost of room only £269 (no breakfast included) was proportionate. There is mention for a complimentary mini bar so I was prepared to pay a bit more however it had two bottles of larger and two gin tins aswell as some cans of pepsi. The room was clean and stylish but I am afraid not worth what I paid, in my opinion. Desk staff were courteous and friendly.

Great location but noisy at night. Walkable, short walk to the train station and another train station practically next door. Breakfast was OK. Staff were very nice, helpful, caring.

We had a wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the staff, who made us feel genuinely welcome. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary upgrade to our room, which made our visit even more enjoyable. The complimentary minibar was a thoughtful touch and greatly appreciated. The hotel’s location is excellent—perfect for exploring the city on foot and close to restaurants, shopping, and attractions. Overall, a fantastic experience, and we would happily stay here again.

Great hotel. We didn’t do the breakfast so can’t speak to. We loved being in city center. Great location for getting around.

The room was very nice, beautifully and stylishly renovated while in a historic building with a lot of charm. We loved the fact that there was a complimentary, complete well-stocked bar in the room along with snacks. Great location - literally across the street from the train station but rooms were sound proofed and super quiet

Charlton George Hotel, is situated very near the train station approx 1min walk , First impression of the Hotel very Clean and very New and Modern looking, excellent lifts very spacious. On arrival Staff was polite, Rooms are very modern and Clean , air conditioned but no windows to open just a solid glass,the room felt stuffy no fresh air gets in, you could see dust flying around not good if you are asthmatic. Strange smell , again no fresh air or windows to open to allow fresh air in, Id mentioned this to receptionist, she says she will try and find another room that has windows, however she had forgotten to look into it, so another night of stuffy room by morning my nose was very dry and choked up. Food was excellent, staff very helpful and friendly .. I would have liked to stay here again as the area is in a Central part of Glasgow which has plenty of pubs, diners and fashion shops. Music entertainment and theatres ..

The Carlton George was the best accommodation of our trip so far. It was conveniently located and had beautiful modern decor.
