I come from Vietnam. I stayed at the hostel 04 nights. Considering the price I paid, I think the hostel is good. I booked a bed in a 12-person room, but everyone was nice and quiet. The location is convenient and easy to access other areas—MRT is nearby. When I checked in late, they left an envelope with my name on it and the key inside. They also have a kitchen where I can cook my own meals or use the oven to heat up takeaway food. As for the staff, I rarely saw them—maybe they weren’t around when I went out, or honestly, I wasn't sure who the staff were. I brought everything I needed with me, so I didn’t really need any assistance. I’d happily stay at this hostel again if I return to Singapore.

It's a shame, even though the price is cheap, please don't give the same service. I asked for the bottom section but it still couldn't be done, even though I had ordered it very far in advance. Finally, after checking in, I immediately checked out and moved to another inn, so I could still find a hotel at the last minute.

It is very uncomfortable to stay in this hotel because there is only one bathroom for many people. So if you want to go to the bathroom you have to queue, especially if you are in the urge to poop and pee. Gosh, it is very complicated.

I was delightful when staying at BEAT Arts Hostel Chinatown. What I pay for is worth with what I get. My first impression, the hostel was not to spacious. They allowed me to store my luggage before check-in to the hostel. I got one family room for 6 people. The room was so-so and clean, they got air conditioner inside the room. If I want to eat I can go outside the outdoor patio. And for the toilet is very clean and has a bidet. its a plus poin for me. I like the location of the hostel, its very strategic near Chinatown MRT station. So, when we wanna go out we can go to the MRT by walk. and also I can go to the merlion park by walking, its really near with my hostel. In conclusion, you will got what you pay for. its not bad and its not to good. I really enjoy my stay there. Thank you.

The atmosphere is okay, the hotel is quite strategic to the city, close to the MRT, the room is quite okay, the facilities at that price are quite worth it by staying at this hotel, the policy of informing the room key problem is also quite okay. There is 1 bathroom on each floor and it is shared, but in the downstairs bathroom there are 2 for bathing, 2 for toilets but minimal bidets are only available in a few toilets (* especially for those who take a bath there must be a bidet) yesterday there was 10 beds in 1 room and the contents were random women and men so 1, BUT overall I stayed there and mixed the contents of the room, it was safe and very safe 👌. there are lockers in the room too, 1 locker for 1 person. only yesterday I didn't have time to use the locker. there is a pantry room, you can relax, eat (* you are not allowed to eat in the room) for coffee, there is a dispenser, a refrigerator, even in the pantry there is a bathroom too. bring a large suitcase or overload can be put on the rack in the pantry room, super safe. basically for backpackers it's really cool, to be used as a transit hotel / just to sleep and shower is quite okay with the price like that. 90/100 👌 (*not paid for hotel endorsement)

Very affordable place to stay for a few days, especially for backpackers. Both the bathroom and bedroom were especially clean however the state of it depends on the people that are currently staying there but overall still upholds the standard of clean for me. The hostel is also quite close to a couple of food centres and MRTs which is honestly a lifesaver. Check-in and Check-out times were very well managed. Hotel staffs and manager were very friendly and cooperative. Highly recommend this place if you are a backpacker or just trying to find a cheap and affordable place to stay for a few days in Singapore.

I booked a Female Dormroom for my wife, and she found the experience of staying at BEAT. Arts Hotel Chinatown very satisfying. The service from the hotel staff was very good, friendly, and helpful. The location is also strategic, making it easy to access various places in Singapore. One of the facilities that is highly appreciated is the free water refill, which is very helpful considering the price of drinking water in Singapore is quite expensive. Overall, this hotel provides a comfortable and pleasant stay. Highly recommended for those looking for accommodation with complete facilities and a strategic location!
