How to get to Hotel 81 Chinatown
There are several ways to get to Hotel 81 Chinatown. The first way is the visitors can travel on the road. The visitors who come from Bedok have to get on ECP from Bedok S road and Bedok South Ave 1. Then, they have to continue on Sheares Ave and take Central Blvd to upper Cross St. Once they have arrived at New Bridge Road, they are able to find Hotel 81 Chinatown. The journey on the road takes about 16 minutes.
Another way is by taking a train and a bus. From Bedok, they have to take a train Tuas Link that is on East-West Line. Then, they have to get off at City Hall station and walk for 3 minutes to Aft City Hall Stn Exit B. They need to take a bus 851 Bukit Merak and make a stop at Opp Hong Lim Complex. Chinatown Heritage Centre - For those who are into Chinatown history, the perfect place to visit is the Chinatown Heritage Centre. This centre is located on Pagoda Street. After this place was fully refurbished, it was officially reopened in early 2016. The visitors are able to learn more about the early life of people in Chinatown Besides that, they can see the interiors of the 1950s and they can visit the old shops and living quarters in this centre. They can also know some of the people who had helped to build the city. Besides that, the visitors can get to know the journey the early Singapore people who had left their villages in China and made their way to Nanyang. They can also have a chance to sample renowned local food at Old Chang Kee’s Curry Times.
