How to Get to the Orchid Hotel
The Orchid Hotel is located at Tras Street, one of the main roads in Chinatown. The best way to get to the hotel is by driving. A drive from Pulau Ujong to the Orchid Hotel will take about twenty-five minutes. There is an option to take a taxi to the hotel. Singapore has reliable and reputable taxi services with affordable fare. However, do note of the location and time when hailing down a taxi, as there are surcharges at certain places and time, especially during peak hours and after midnight. For a cheaper alternative, one can take an MRT train on the East-West Line. There is an MRT station, the Tanjong Pagar MRT station, located not far from the Orchid Hotel and it serves the East-West Line. There is also an option to take the Singapore transit bus, as there is a bus stop across the hotel.

The Orchid Hotel has four types of rooms in its building, suitable for a range of guests. The first type is the Deluxe Double Room. The room has a space of 32-sqm with a Queen-sized bed and a Single-bed. The Deluxe Double room is perfect for a small family, and it can sleep at least three adults comfortably. A night in this room starts from S$ 166. Next one is the Executive Room. It has the same room size as the Deluxe Double room at 32-sqm, and it comes with a King-sized bed. The Executive Room is perfect for a couple or a single traveller. The room starts from S$ 228 a night. The Deluxe Triple room also has the same room size as the previous room. It is completed with a Queen-sized bed and a Twin-sized bed. The Deluxe Triple room also can sleep at least three adults. It has a price tag of S$ 249 a night. The biggest room at the Orchid Hotel is the Suite. The Suite is just a shy of 40-sqm, and it has a Queen-sized bed. The bedroom is separated from the sitting/office area of the suite. A night in the Suite starts from S$ 331 a night.
All of the rooms are equipped with the same basic in-room amenities. These amenities include a set of television with cable channels, a coffee/tea maker set, a minibar, and a couple of bottled water.
