It was a great hospitality! Friendly staff! Conducive room! Guess what?! They even surprised me with a birthday cake on my birthday! Thank you so much for the gesture. I will definitely return if I happen to be in Singapore again. Much love! ❤️

The room was really spacious. It was a lovely experience especially since we wanted to try living in a shophouse. The staircase in the loft is very steep and narrow, might not be suitable for the elderly and children. The room would be even better if there was a bidet or a spray for the toilet bowl! Cleanliness in times of COVID 🙂

The moment we stepped into our room, we were so pleasantly delighted 👍 This is a Heritage Award Winning hotel and really gives a nostalgic feeling. The mini bar is free (first round) is a very nice touch. Though it’s nothing fancy but it brings on a smile 😊 The location is good 👍 and there’s plenty of good cafes and restaurants within 5-10 minutes walking. Nearby Bussorah Street was great for dinner and the atmosphere was so good. My family really enjoyed it.

We will surely miss this place. The rooms were so convenient and clean. Good food on free breakfast and you have lots of choices of food store outside few steps away only. Malls are just walking distance. Staffs are great and hospitable. We'll always come back here to stay whenever visiting Singapore.

Though the room is pretty noisy because we were given the room that was located in the back building and near the street, I like the room and breakfast. The design of the hotel is super amazing. Combining the old building with new interior and design makes the stay as an amazing experience. The location of the hotel is also not really far from the Bugis and Marina Bay.

Stayed 3 nights, my room was at the back building, first floor. It's bigger than the ones my friends got while we booked the same type. They got the front building. The location was great with a fee hundreds meters to MRT and busses to the city areas. It's in the older type of rooms, and if you like the old Singapore style hotels you would like it. My european friends enjoyed their smallee rooms. However, t's not my cup of tea (I enjoyed newer, minimalist hotel). In general it was okay until around 4 am there are group of motorcycles hanging around and since my room is the first room from entrance, it was really loud. Also on Friday night, can definitely hear some loud musics until 2 am. The room is not sound proof as I can hear my neighbor's TV until 2.30am. We stayed during Lady Gaga concert. Withther price they offered that week, just can't resists.

The Sultan was a great place for our weeklong stay in Singapore. The building is amazing. They have retained the old-world feel of the classic building, while the room was modern and comfortable. The bathroom was a little small, but included a great rainfall showerhead. Our room was in the back, which is a bit of a walk from the lobby, but it's a charming walk that feels like you've gone back in time as you wander the wooden pathways past tropical plants and colonial architecture. It's an easy walk to the restaurants around Arab Street, or the Thai shops at Golden Mile or City Gate. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the 24-hour laundry room was a big plus.

Moving from a 4-star hotel, The Sultan was not to be underestimated. From the moment we set eyes on the all-white, historic building, I just knew the vibes would be aesthetic. All my senses were challenged by this beautiful 3-star hotel. We stepped to a simple but cozy reception, greeted by friendly & helpful staff. Checked in to our room with no hassle, whilst inhaling a spa-like aroma of our room. The room space was adequate for a 3-star hotel and surprised with the spacious bathroom—even bigger than our previous 4-star hotel. Perfect location as well, close to good foods, convenient stores, & bus stops. The only 2 things missing: full body mirror & slippers.

Great hotel for young couple or solo traveler. Location is between Lavender and Bugis MRT station and it 's easy to find foods in general or to suit a halal diet around this area. It does not offer breakfast services but overall service staff is super helpful and informative. We really enjoy the comfortable bed and great design of the hotel. Downside is if you stay in the Aliwal wing with windows facing the Aliwal street, it may get noisy at some point.

I totally recommend you this hotel, either for business trip or for leisure.

Boutique hotel in the Kampung Glam area which is full of history and beautiful buildings around it. The rooms are spacious, quiet and comfortable. The pillows are soft and clean. Good service and very helpful. The hotel is very clean and beautiful. Really liked and enjoyed staying here. Close to restaurants and Bugis Junction.

The building so authentic, room is super clean. The location very strategic, near Arab Street that have many restaurant. Plus a bus stop literally in front of the hotel. I really recommend this hotel for your stay in Singapore. This will be one of my favorite hotel in here.

Cleanliness not as expected. Old pillows, mattress and bed sheet. Found centipede at the toilet floor. Sofa and chusion are old and smelly.

What I love the most about the hotel is its strategic location! It is located in a very nice neighbourhood, lots of choices of halal food restaurants around the area. The hotel is also within walking distance to Bugis Junction and Mustafa center. The room was a bit small but totally fine for me. I totally recommend you this hotel, either for business trip or for leisure.

It was a small room, but clean! Bathroom was small too, but very well renovated. And, with the rain shower, felt nice and luxurious! Good, overall!
