A stone’s throw away from Atocha station, the apartments were in a great location. Despite the traffic and the crowds that come with the proximity to the station, the property was very quiet. Very helpful staff.

Property is perfectly located across from the Atocha station with an another metro stop right outside the door. Easy walking distance to the Prado Museum and many eatery options right outside the door. Studio was amazing - clean and spacious, with just about every amenity needed for a short or long stay.

Check in was easy. Location was great. Literally across the Atocha train station and metro station. Easy site for Uber pick up. Walking distance from restaurants. Felt safe walking alone at all times.

Location is awosome, Stuff is very friendly. Had issue to check in at the self-checkin machine but was helped remotely. One of the bed room facing street is very noisy. air conditioner was not working for the first night. Fixed by stuff next day.

We were 3 people and were give apt #5B for 4 nights.
Positives: Very good location right on top of a metro station. While the building is at a noisy location, the apartment was quiet and clean. Fast food joints are in this building. So it’s convenient. That’s where the good part ends.
For the steep price they charge, this place has a lot of negatives and provides poor value. You’d get a fantastic place for that money in the US.
- Bathroom is tiny. There is no place to hang clothes inside the bathroom.
- Tiny shower with odd angle of shower head. Water would get tepid and then cold when taking shower and even for a short duration. We had to time taking showers.
- The bedroom is upstairs and the living room was downstairs. I’m not sure if it was clear from the description.
- No heater upstairs and the heater in the bathroom didn’t work.
- TV turned on but had no cable or satellite connection. So it was useless.
- The elevator is tiny and took time due to traffic. We ended up taking stairs many times.
I’d not recommend this property at high prices.

We did not stay at 60 Balconies. We made a mistake when booking the hotel, entering the wrong date. The hotel would not agree to change the date. We contacted Hotels.com within 10 minutes of finalizing the reservation.

My only issue was the shower does not drain. The basin edge is 1.5 inches and fills in 2 min . Location great, ancross from train station. Still felt safe. all the things you could need if staying awhile. Ie washer , dishwasher fridge .

This was the perfect place for our one-night stay. Conveniently located to Atocha train station, Prado Museum, Reina Sofia Museum, El Retiro Park, and so much more. The room was spacious and comfortable for two, very quiet inside even though it’s on a bustling street, and we really appreciated the espresso maker with pods that were provided! Check in was easy and the associate was friendly. Highly recommend 60 Balconies!

It was very good except the keys were a problem. After a few uses we had to keep getting new keys. Also there was a very late night noisy neighbor upstairs that played music from 11:30-1:30 at night. Otherwise the interior was wonderful!!!

The property is in urgent need of maintenance and deep cleaning. The furniture is stained, and all the walls are scuffed and dented. There is no way of communicating with them outside their office hours (11-15) except by calling, which is a long-distance call for those visiting from other countries.

Was the best place I stayed form about 10 places around Spain that I had stayed at. I am hooked on apartments now over hotels, you have all the stuff to make life comfort , washing machine, kettle and microwave and room to move. I stayed in a studio which is plenty for 2 people but next time I would probably stay on a higher floor. If you want somewhere without people this isn’t for you but if you don’t mind a small amount of street noise then this is it.

The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Very nice kitchen and close to public transportation.
The location is perfect, but comes at a cost: the surrounding is very loud until late night.
The furniture has its best times behind it and needs to be substituted. There is a loud ventilation.

The apartment was old, needed maintenance for everything from bathrooms to door knobs, slow WiFi, the door bell, the list goes on.
The apartments were not soundproofed at all. The noise from the street kept us up all night and it was impossible to relax during the day.
Upon arrival, the reception was away and the bathroom door had a problem and wouldn’t open. We had to wait till the next day to sort it out where she insisted that “it only requires a strong push”. Wrong WiFi password was given on the first day as well.
All in all we will never stay there again, not worth the money and the area is full of robberies.
