Spacious room, family of 4 had space and wasn’t cramped. Facilities were great considering central location, very walkable to many nearby attractions.

Not the hotel’s fault but there was children jumping in the pool unattended, all the Sunbeds were soaking wet , poor roberto was telling them to stop but to no avail , we tried to sunbathe and relax but the noise level and slashing water all over us was extreme so we left , which is a shame because the hotel is outstanding

Room always felt damp AC barely worked Shower door did not close all the way, so the rest of the bathroom floor was constantly wet after a shower.

Excellent facilities and lovely staff. Rooms are very comfortable.

Hotel is ok overall, but check-in is only at 3pm. Due to our flight we arrived too early — at 9:15am. It was fully booked. Check out time at 12pm. Note that on the day of checking out the cleaning lady knocked on the door already at 11:40am! We were about to leave. It would’ve taken 30 minutes to clean up the room and the room would’ve been ready three hours earlier. I’m sure the same happened on my day of checking in. And yet —administration politely but a bit annoyed made us wait for 5 1/2 hours and only provided us with our room only by 3:05 PM – not even ONE minute earlier! Later that morning more Americans arrived. I noticed that this non-corporation with earlier checking-in applies to American citizens primarily — my observation which they will easily object. Plus the location is not the best, bums downstairs, no doorman helps with luggage, etc. Regardless, will not be there again.

Pros: Lobby was clean, spacious and welcoming additionally there are sitting areas available if you're waiting or just want to get out of your room. The lobby had a jar of essence water which was great, but it was never cold. Location: short walk to 2 metro locations, there is a mailbox a block away (for a postcard). walking distance to many tourist sites Staff was very friendly and helpful, particularly in giving us guidance on using the metro. The rooms were clean and appear to have been updated in recent years. The beds were of average comfort. bathroom shower was very big. Cons: Room: We traveled in July when it was very hot. Air conditioning would not cool below 21°C (69.8°F), and we're use to 68. The room also had a slight musty smell, possibly because of no exhaust fan in the bathroom. We had 2 adults and 2 teens in 1 room, there were 2 double beds and 1 pull out couch. I knew this when I selected the room and felt I got what I paid for, but another family was absolutely furious about the pullout couch and wanted to leave the hotel. The doors were noisy closing, a large family was leaving one morning and their door slammed about 15 times over 20 minutes between 6-6:30am Coffee is available with breakfast, which we did not purchase, but either way it's was impossible to find coffee anywhere in the hotel or the city before 7:30 am which was annoying. there was a kettle in the room but it didn't work.
