Hotel Oromana

Incredible. As gorgeous as it looks, the staff is amazing, and the dinner at the restaurant here was the best we had on the entire 3 week trip. Miles and miles of easy walking trails along the river past ancient flour mills. The property is a bit in need of another update, but the price reflects that and could surely be double. Outstanding and an amazing value.

Rapport qualité/prix moyen. Malgré un bel environnement avec de magnifiques pins, une belle et traditionnelle architecture, cet hôtel tombe en décrépitude, intérieur et extérieur. La piscine et les terrasses ne sont pas fidèles aux photos du site, même si la saison estivale n'est pas commencée. Chambre familiale 3 personnes petite. Petit déjeuner moyen (au pays de l'orange, pas de jus frais !) Bref, quel dommage.

Despite the extremely friendly staff, we would never want to come back because this property is too old and deteriorated to a point beyond reasonable. Expedia should not list it, totally outside the expectations, unfortunately could not find anything else near Seville!

It would be nicer if there is a small fridge for storing cool drinks anyway we had a nice time ,the place is wonderful quiet and peaceful not to mention the view from our balcony is superb

Hotel anticuado y necesitaría una reforma en zonas comunes y habitaciones las que están muy viejas .

Hotel que necesita mantenimiento por fuera y por dentro. No tiene ascensor (ni siquiera una pequeña rampa en la entrada). El desayuno es regular: la calidad de los embutidos es bastante baja, hay cubiertos y tazas sucias (algunas MUY sucias). Y no cuidan los detalles: no hay agua, no encienden la tostadora de pan... Las habitaciones están muy mal insonorizadas y hace frío (el AC/calefacción no llega a calentar). El hotel está muy apartado de todo, es poco práctico. La wifi va lenta.

Le cadre est vraiment merveilleux, le personnel est agréable et la nourriture de qualité. Une adresse à retenir et à conseiller.

Nefasta la estancia, la habitacio no funcionanba tv, poca luz y de eaa poca luz 2 no funcionaban, el baño con moho, al entrar un fortisimo olor.... todo muy viejo, una pena porque la ubicacion es perfecta ....

Very unique. Beautiful grounds

The location is overall ok, the park is nice and there are many cats, which is always sweet. The pictures of the hotel are definitely NOT accurate, particularly the pool which is so rundown. The rooms have been "updated" but extremely badly and you might as well sleep on the floor with that bed. My husband had the worst back pain from it. A tiny sliver of soap and shampoo are provided and absolutely nothing else, no water, no coffee, no mini fridge... On and on. We were there on a Saturday and a wedding was going on until very late so if you want to sleep, bring earplugs. Upon check-in, the front desk guy told us the restaurant opened at 8pm but clearly didn't mention that because of the wedding we wouldn't be able to dine there, which we only found out once we came downstairs. TV doesn't turn on, lights don't work, flooring is all crooked and badly installed, the bathroom door hasn't had any grease for 50+ years it seems, so forget going to the bathroom in the middle of the night without waking your spouse up. We decided to checkout the next day and the woman at the front desk almost didn't seem surprised. She didn't give any indication of caring why we were leaving early or trying to ask if there's something they could do or apologize at all. She literally didn't give a damn. Avoid and don't trust the good reviews.

Hotel was really good. Would benefit from EV charging. Guy on reception last night was excellent. So helpful. If we come again we would go for a bigger bed as the standard was quite small. Came down at 8am for breakfast. Nothing was ready. Had to ask and the guy scuttled from reception and turned all the lights on and starting laying stuff out. We were in a rush so could not wait. Only able to grab a coffee. But what we saw coming out was pretty poor and not worth what was charged...

Had an amazing stay here, really an excellent hotel in a fantastic location. The surrounding city is filled with kind people and great places to eat. The hotel itself is staffed also by very kind people and was overall very comfortable. There is also a good breakfast buffet. Overall highly recommend.

Our third visit, and our stay was as special as both previous ones. Peacefulness, remoteness, spotlessly clean room, very efficient A//C, light comfy lounge area. The swimming pool was much appreciated, as was the poolside bar (weekends) and the delicious food from the Oromana restaurant - open Monday - Saturday evenings and weekend lunchtimes. But... what makes this hotel exceptional is it's staff. Waiting staff, housekeeping, behind the scenes staff we never met, and reception staff were polite and professional. Reception staff in particular were helpful, organising taxis, restaurant bookings and drinks durung the day when the bar wasn't manned. All the reception staff worked very hard, and went above and beyond to fulfil our requests. But one gentleman stood out. Thankyou Fran for taking time to make us feel extra special - always a smile, handshake, advice on festivals we may enjoy another year and he produced an iron and extra coat hangers in a flash. He made us feel we were friends as well as guests. Thank you Fran, for your genuine wishes that we had a good stay at The Oromana.

A historic elegant property with no elevators.

DO NOT BOOK HERE!!! Firstly, they advertise that there is a pool that you can use. While this is true that they have a pool, they did not open it until well after we travelled there. We were there for the week of May 19. Every other hotel we stayed at had an outdoor pool that was open and operable - this hotel z that we paid extra for, did not. We were extremely upset about that. The hotel was also extremely far from the town it was located in. It was a LONG walk to get to any civilization. There was nothing around! When we booked it said we would have breakfast included. That was a lie. We had to pay for it, and it was EXTREMELY overpriced for the worst breakfast i've ever had. They didnt give us ice when we had our own drinks (every other hotel did), and the rooms were mediocre at best. We paid way more than we should have for extra amenities that we never got to use. We could have spent $500 less and gotten the same disappointment at a hotel without a pool. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Pleasant property, clean and well equipped with adequate free parking. The restaurant was excellent for dinner and breakfast.

Place is lovely, very relaxing enviroment and clean

The staff was amazing .. Maria, head of reception along with her team have always been available to answer patiently all the queries we had .. the place is fantastic and we were super pleased to stay there .. we will be back !!
