Great budget hotel just off the center of Zermatt. We had a nice (albeit tight) balcony with a glimpse of The Matterhorn. The room was clean but unfortunately no air conditioning and it was quite warm in the room. There’s a refrigerator which was very convenient. Stepping into the shower isn’t designed for short people which was a bit awkward. We had to check in at another hotel, but it was only steps away. Would stay here again for convenience and cleanliness.

Very nice hotel with in 2 minutes walk from train station and also in the middle of everything. Breakfast was a plus. Loved it.

Really enjoyed my stay here. Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Breakfast was wonderful and exceeded my expectation. The cleaning staff were immaculate. Clearly all the staff cares about the hotel and it really shows. Room was smallish but had tons of built in storage and it was more than ample as a solo traveller. Would recommend and would stay again.

No body at reception, just a sign to go to another hotel. Booked 2 rooms. Paid same price for each room. They were nothing a like, 1 reasonable size the other, absolutely no where to put lugggage, had to put on the floor in front of the door, so couldn’t go out without putting suitcase on the bed. Bathroom so old!!! Shower over a very deep bath. Definitely not recommend

Great location, with an easy walk from the train. Right in the heart of Zermatt. We appreciated the storage room and boot warmer/dryer, as we were skiing. However, the free breakfast was very basic, and the woman who manages the breakfast room was difficult to deal with (reminding everyone 5-10 minutes before the breakfast closed, even though we'd been there every day and knew the closing time.) She hovered a bit and was not friendly. The bigger concern for us was lack of coffee maker in our room. This made it necessary to go down three floors just to get a cup of coffee every morning, but we thought no problem, we'll do it. Turns out - that IS a problem. We were told we could not leave with a cup of coffee and there were no "to go cups." This was very frustrating and inconvenient.
