Very good experience.

The people at front desk were pleasant. Carpet in hallways was filthy and torn, there was a leak under bathroom sink, place was falling apart, boxsprings instead of mattresses, bugs crawling everywhere when we turned lights on, drunk people outside our door smoking. Felt completely unsafe

ไม่น่าพักครับ อยู่ไกลจากสถานีรถไฟประมาณ1กม ทางเดินลำบาก รร เก่า เหมือนม่านรูด มีเสียงดังตลอดเวลาจากลม จากแอร์ อาหารเช้าก็พอทานได้ สำหรับนักท่องเที่ยวแล้ว ไม่แนะนำให้พักครับ เรียกว่า ราคากับสิ่งที่ได้ มันไม่ค่อยดีเท่าไร

The staff at the front desk is nice and polite. It was a relief that I can still check in after midnight, because of flight delay.

Booked this hotel as a last minute overnight stay due to a flight delay. The rooms are a bit dated/shabby, but clean, comfortable, and spacious. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Towels are nice and big--always a nice surprise in TW. Provided buffet breakfast was great (breakfast space is across the street from hotel lobby FYI). Overall good value for price, and conveniently located near Zhongli station.

it was a BAD experience! The hotel is full with cigarette smell. The room is not clean and the bed has triggered my skin problem (very itchy the whole night). There is no toiletries and no slipper was provided. The smell of the bathroom was BAD even you can smell of it even the door is closed. When we went for breakfast by 9am, we were told nothing was left for us - we just took 2 slices of bread and a cup of coffee! Terrible stay!

Service is fair but should be better. No more....too bad....

Nice peaceful neighbourhood

checked-in & noted toilet bowl was choked. Waited 1.5hr despite receptionist said coming up. Staff came with plunger, made a mess & left with dirty soiled bathroom. Water from plunger was drip on floor from toilet through room to door, no clean-up service thereafter. When we were in Taipei, Duke Hotel confirmed they would received parcel on our behalf with name provided in English and Chinese, before our arrival. At Duke Hotel, they informed us times nothing was received. After repeated clarification, finally another receptionist said there is a delivery but they reject because guest name doesn't tally. I asked for delivery addressee and receptionist could mentioned the name and it was my name! Then she added the excuse "we have no time to translate your name from English to Chinese". The overall attitude and services are poor, unprofessional and the worse I've experienced in these 5 years travelling countless in Taiwan.

the carpet , the curtains so old, so dirty and curtains with holes and floor with permanent black marks which at first glance thought were small cockroaches. the bathtub so so old and bathroom tiles with permanent black and red marks. so really so so disappointed .

We were looking for cheap and cheapo what we got so we can't complain.

Fine hotel for what we needed - only about fifteen minutes from the airport and ten from the high speed train station. No reason to spend a night here unless coming from or going to one of those places
