Room service everyday, bottle water everyday. Lots of eating places around hotel. Right across Taipei Main station.

Be wary. The Inn will be delighted to give you a windowless room. When we were insistent on a window, they gave us one that opened on the a/c heat exchangers. No cold water in the shower one morning, long checkout, “to high” pillows that they had no remedy for. The hotel is on the fifth floor of a 40+ story building, without a sign that says it’s there. (There’s on in the window of the convenience store next door, but who looks in convenience store for a hotel?) It has the virtue of being dark and mostly quiet; the staff tries to be helpfull. Wifi and a/c are good.

Perfect location for anyone coming to visit Taipei. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, particularly keeping in touch with the airport for me in regard to my lost luggage. I only had a few points that could be improved. The shower area is not cleaned whilst staying in the room. This led to a build up of slime/algae, and the drain started to smell. The washing and dryers are a good facility to have, however the washing machines do not drain/spin the clothes very well and the dryers take ages to dry. Note that dryer 2 does not work properly. The staff request you remain with your washing whilst it’s cleaning, however the whole process takes around 4 hours for the clothes to wash and fully dry. The door threshold has a big gap (about 1 inch) at the bottom, a slight concern for privacy, noise and light coming through. Again, I just want to highlight how lovey the staff were, especially in letting us check in early! Just a few points that are more for management.

The location is very convenient as it is across the street from the Taipei Main Station. From Taipei Main Station exiting through Zhongxiao W. Rd exit and you will see the Asia Plaza Building on the other side of the street. The hotel is in this building and the reception is on the 5th floor. You can leave the luggage at the lobbies if arriving early or leaving for a few days and coming back to stay. One discomfort is the air conditioning is a bit too cold and the temperature can’t be adjusted. Overall, I am satisfied with the stay. It would be perfect if the AC temperature was up a bit.

Pros: -location is excellent next to Taipei Main Stn which has lots of food stall and shops Cons: The room floor is made of wooden plank and creates loud creaking sound when you walk around the room. Room is not sound proof and you can hear the noise from next room as well as corridor noise.

立地は良いのですが、部屋の壁が薄いのか隣の話し声や音が凄く聞こえて困りました。 冷凍品も預かってもらえず困りました。台北で初めてでした。 フロントの方もあまり感じ良くなかったです。次回は違うホテルにしようかなって感じです。

雙人房有窗空間蠻大的，但是隔音不太好。以價位來看算CP值很高

Spacious

The Mayer Inn is a well traveled hotel in that there is a lot of guests that come in/out frequently which was noticeable with the stack of check in forms at the desk. The property is conveniently located across from the main metro station which also houses the bus station and high speed rail line. This is also a negative because there is always a lot of activity around the hotel and the atmosphere looks/feels dirty. The floors of the building for the hotel need renovated. The carpeting and colors need to be refreshed. The walls between the rooms are very thin so can hear conversations, light switches being flicked on/off, shower running — the floors may have been office space renovated to hotel? The USB ports in the room by the bed didn’t work and the only other would sometimes flicker on/off. The drain in the shower was also so slow draining had to keep turning the water off. Also, thought there was no hair dryer in the room since not in the bathroom under the sink — rather it was in the desk drawer not close to bathroom. The kettle in the room is convenient, but the plug only fits into the outlet in the bathroom. The bed was okay — maybe a thicker mattress pad for softness would have been nice. Also, most rooms are interior rooms so no windows — again was office space converted? Overall, not sure I would recommend.

The rooms have been well used as in they need a renovation ASAP. The carpeting needs replaced, the USB charging stations need rewired (the one next to the bed doesn’t work). and the rooms need to be lighter in color especially when there is no window. Interesting that the room has a kettle but the wall plug near the drink station does not fit the kettle plug — have to plug the kettle into the plug in the bathroom. The bathroom has only a shower and the shower drain drains so slow you have to keep turning off the water to avoid overflow. Overall, the property is convenient to the metro station. Not sure I would recommend to stay here since the rotation of guests is extensive and the check in time is late at 1700.

We stayed 4 nights it's super convenient for everything transportation,eateries you name it and staffs are very nice we arrived bit earlier than check in time but they let us check in

廁所門關不太起來，木地板踩下去有嘎吱聲，洗澡排水系統不好，會積水！ 廁所很乾淨，工作人員服務很好！

close to taipei main station, you can find many convenient stores and restaurants around the hotel

타이베이역 앞이라서 이동 및 숙박에 편리함이 있습니다. 불편한점은 호텔이 1개건무리 아니라 그중의 4~5층을 사용하는 관계로 특히 4층은 엘리베이터 타는게 너무 불편했습니다.

From check in to check out everything was amazing! The location was great, and staff super helpful! I'll definitely stay here again!

Location super good. i stay third floor. no noise no cigarette smell too. only can see carpet with hair. given 2 single bed.
