DoubleTree by Hilton St Augustine Historic District

Great location, it was close to all the historic sites we wanted to visit. Rooms are clean. We had to ask for 1 more towel, there was only 1 in the room. The staff went and got more and brought to the room in undef 5 minutes.

I was disappointed that all the pool umbrellas were broken. The shaded alcove by the pool had wasps. I told the woman working the front desk the first day and it still was the same on the fourth day. That was very disappointing. Darlene at the bar was very attentive and pleasant. The rooms were very clean.

Neighbors were somewhat noisy and parking was tight. Hotel was pleasant and well maintained. Cleanliness was excellent.

Excellent location in the area. The hotel staff was very friendly, and we were able to check in at 1:00 PM instead of 4:00 PM at no extra charge.

We had a wonderful time. A supervisor at Hotels.com helped make changes to our stay after the first option left me standing outside with no key to get into my reservation. Doubletree was the right place to land. It’s walking distance from many tourist sights. Friendly workers. Overall a good stay.

It was just ok. We stayed the night passing through on vacation. Front desk service was fantastic, however the bathroom seemed like it hadn’t really been cleaned. There were hairs in the tub and the faucet was missing a screw and barely hanging on.

During both of our visits to Saint Augustine we have stayed at this hotel and had exceptional service and our rooms were wonderful. Everything from the staff to the location and room conditions are top notch. The only thing I wish was different is that they did not charge such a high price for the continental breakfast. Other than that no complaints and we will definitely stay here again on future visits.

Clean room and nice ambiance

The property was very quiet and clean and attractive. The breakfast staff were great and coffee was good. The only thing we didn't like were the towels, which were very scratchy

Nice bar you could eat at around 5:00. Room was nice and comtable. Place to eat breakfast in the morning buffet style or choose your own breakfast. Convenient to a lot of attractions.

We stayed here last year during Memorial Day and a full renovation was taking place. The renovation is now complete with both elevators working and the lobby looks great. Terry greeted us warmly when we checked in and ensured we would have everything needed to have a pleasant stay. The room is quiet, comfortable, and clean. Room service is available too. Continental and full breakfast are available and the bar is open until 11. The hotel is located in the quiet part of the city and within walking distance of several attractions (1 mile to the City Gates). The only complaint is parking. It is limited onsite but more is available directly across the street. It is secure and accessible with a code.
