Pay a little extra and stay somewhere safer and nicer... The room had a funny smell, the bed closest to the bathroom was completely broken at the lower corner, my son cut his leg on the other corner of the bed because of a piece of metal sticking out of it, the floors were disgusting, the drawers were broken and one kept opening, the sheets looked like they were not changed. On top of all that we were there police there almost the whole time we were there, some of our things were stolen, and when there was an issue with our reservation for their sister property across town one of their front desk clerks lied and kept hanging up on me. Additionally when I reached out to their general manager he was of no assistance... Don't waste your time, or money.... save yourself the stress and stay somewhere nicer

It was the worst experience i have ever had and we usually rent hotel once a month , i am currently pregnant and with a toddler and i asked for a room on the first floor and possible close st to the Pool as we were staying there to use the Pool, we got in Second floor we went in the room and turned the air on and a pee smell came out immediately went to the front desk took a whole 20 min to get to us then got sent to a 3rd floor , the pool and spa was so dirty never staying here again

Sketchy and in a dark area. If you want to be sure your car doesn’t get vandalized, park directly in front of the office if it’s available. Strange People walking around at night.

Overall not a bad Motel. They are doing renovations so some disarray is expected. The worst experience was trying to find the entrance to the hotel. We drove around the hotel three times, even entering the freeway again by accident. Maybe a sign directing the guests to the entrance. Room was OK. Bathroom was clean. Noisy during early morning hours from traffic on all sides of the hotel. Would stay again for the rates we paid. Very reasonable for what you get

The room look dirty and the sofa ugly and very dirty

I thought there was a lot of drugs in this area also next door there were a lot of people in that’s room very loud & they were in trying to open the door that is connected to there room I told them to stop there was someone in here lots of changes need to be done!

Didn’t get the room I wanted. Couldn’t sleep kids screaming till 10pm at the pool. The room next to mine had a dog that would not stop barking. I didn’t get much sleep.

This place is a trash heap. The first person I encountered was a guy who was hired to spray for bugs. (I didn’t know this until later or I would have left.) The older lady at the desk was dismissive. Not rude, but very very unwelcoming or maybe even perturbed by my audacity to see about early check-in. I will give her a pass though, because she was very vocal about how it was the end of her shift, and three people had been busting her chops about not doing reports correctly. (I digress). I have never in my life seen so many notice signs in ANY hotel about how the La Mesa Police were in close contact with the hotel and “work closely” with them. I understand safety, just didn’t know it was such a necessity. Showed up around 1 to see about an early check in, the parking was empty. And not a housekeeper in sight. Maybe they were working on the other side of the building? I digress. Sat in my car and waited for the next few hours, came back in about 1.5 hours to see if there were any. I walk up to the front and want to stress that she did not check, she did not radio, she just said, “not ready yet” before I got the door open. Come back around 2:45 and it’s ready. Thanks Helen? The room at first glance is what I expected for $75 and I plop down for a catnap. Wish I hadn’t. Woke up 30/45 mins later and walk to the bathroom where the literal bugs life movie is in the room. Including a giant spider in the light and moths and allllll the things that

Room was clean, shower was great and refrigerator was very cold. Tv worked great. Only thing that was so so was the beds were a little hard. No complaints with the cleanliness or noise. Would definitely stay there again!
