Hilton Garden Inn Frederick

This hotel needs updating.

Even though I paid for 3 nights and only stayed 2 night I still enjoyed it. I just wish these online companies would be able to link into the hotel system to make sure nobody is getting charged double.

Convenient spot for our visit with family in Frederick, MD.

I enjoyed my stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. It was very clean, but a little bit dated on my floor. The room was pretty good but my shower curtain had a slight mildew smell. And the temperature control was motion activated but there wasn't anything to tell me why the room kept going cold even though I had the heat turned up high. Also, I didn't realize that free breakfast was not included and would have needed to pay $15 to eat so I enjoyed breakfast off-site instead. The hotel is very close to a huge shopping center where you can find almost anything.

I want to tell you how amazing the staff is here. She was so helpful when I asked if there was a laundry facility close and she showed me how to use the in-house facility!

Second stay and will come back. Well-kept facility with great amenities. Super impressed with front desk staff. Antoinette, especially, is the epitome of kind and gracious. The breakfast situation is a little confusing and can cause guests some discomfort, as some learn for the first time that it's not included with all reservations.

The young lady in the evenings was quite personable. Loved her. Great to have employees like her.

Nice & clean and a big room but bed was saggy. Breakfast was just okay— $30 for 2 breakfasts.

Safe and convenient place to stay on a road trip. Nice bar and food options and shop downstairs.

Needs some updates. The elevators looks as 50 years old. Bathrooms are fully functional, but need a makeover. Nice small swimming pool though.

Front desk clerk was very polite and helpful.

After a long day in a Frederick Health visitors chair that bed was what I needed! Proximity to the hospital is a plus too

Love this place! The lobby is spacious with plenty of seating and a fireplace. It’s quiet and peaceful. Very clean. Great place to stay if you have dogs. My preferred hotel in Frederick.

Overall this was a very clean hotel and every member of the staff was lovely. I was in for just an overnight for visiting family but I really had an uncomfortable night's sleep due to the bed and smoke detector flashing all night right above said terrible bed. I can't imagine most people can sleep with a strobe light 6 feet above them so I don't know why it was installed right there- closer to the entrance would be less annoying, but at least I can sleep with a blanket over my head. The mattress was clearly old- not gross, but more like a thin easily sinking piece of plywood. I am about 130lbs so not the biggest person; if there were two of me we would've rolled in to the middle together. I don't know if being in a handicapped accessible room meant they don't update it as often (the bed was at least a king) as non-accessible rooms but if anything I'd expect the accessible room to have a more supportive mattress. But again, nothing was gross and all the employees were great so the blame goes to corporate I guess. ALSO the room temperature control is one of those stupid ones that as soon as your room is warm enough to your setting, if it goes one more degree up by chance the A/C kicks in, but I just turned it off- still, stupid and very wasteful!
