Small boutique hotel - clean rooms - great location and well priced for the area. You have a compact clean room in a good location.

The best part for me was that everything is in walking distance. I could go to grocery outlet and get anything I forgot to bring with me and at the end of the night I can go out on the town. Rita is a queen she goes out of her way to make sure the guest is taken care of and gets a good parking spot in front of the hotel. Because of her I never moved my car that weekend lol.

The hotel itself is tiny. The room was a lot smaller than expected. It’s just a bed and a restroom. No microwave, fridge or iron. No ice machine either. It wasn’t a huge issue for us as we were there just to sleep while there on a weekend getaway .There is no staff on site and our room floor was dirty with dust, as if it hadn’t been swept or mopped in a while. Our key pad number didn’t work, but Rita, the staff on call, handled our situation quickly over the phone which we appreciated. The area is perfect for tourists. You can see Petco from your street and Gaslamp is walking distance. There are numerous restaurants to choose from. Overall, now that I know what to expect from the room, I would definitely stay here again. The location is great. The hotel is nice and quiet. Nobody bothered us. It almost felt like we had the hotel to ourselves. If you’re looking for a hotel with all the amenities, this isn’t your place. If you’re looking for a room to sleep while you’re in town, this place is perfect.

The room was very small, but clean very organized. Check in even though automated was very efficient. We were in room 208 and it has a leaking sink. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything as people walk down the hallway. It was like they were inside your room. In the morning between 730 and 8 o’clock, I don’t know if it was a staff member, but there was somebody going up and down the halls, talking very loud. We go to San Diego often and stay in all different levels of hotels for the price, This was not a value.

I liked the fact that it was so close to the gaslamp district. I did not like the fact that when I originally booked, there was no mention that it was passcode only, and no staffing or desk for help. Their email left a phone number if you need help, but every time I called the voicemail was full. On the first night, the passcode did not work and I had to wait for somebody to exit The hotel so that I could get into my room. There was also an odd smell in my room, which seemed to be like a urine smell.

Sheets were stained and dirty. More like an overpriced private hostel room than a hotel.

It's important for a property without on-site staff to recognize that if they choose not to invest in having personnel available, they must be proactive in monitoring all published communication channels—this includes the website, email, text messages, and the Expedia platform. In the two weeks leading up to my stay, I attempted to reach the property multiple times by phone, email, and message with no response until the day of check-in. This created a lot of unnecessary stress and concern that I might not be able to access the room at all until it was finally activated. Additionally, please note that the rooms are quite small. While the location is convenient, there is no on-site parking—you’ll need to park down the street.

Good value for money in a very expensive neighborhood. Well located for walking to Gaslamp restaurants, the convention center, and the tram/bus to the airport. Some rooms face the street; you have to ask for those facing the back; they are really quiet from outside noise. However, the soundproofing between the rooms and with the hallway (wooden floors) is very poor, so it all depends on the neighbors you have. Cleanliness could be improved (bed linens and shower tray not super clean), but otherwise it's generally clean. Independent air conditioning/heating in the room, good shower, good bedding, good Wi-Fi. A microwave and fridge are accessible at the end of the hallway on the top floor (you should know...). Room descriptions are correct.

Clean, basic, and economical. Contactless check-in and check-out. Great location near the baseball stadium and Gaslamp Quarter. The room was nice, but you can hear everything that happens in the hallway. Also, there was a really loud neighbor blasting his music until almost midnight on the first day.

Fairly clean. Did not have the best sheets on the bed, they were not fitted and came off but other than that it was a decent place to stay. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance.
