During my stay at the hotel, I was struck by the overall condition of the room. While the ambiance was inviting, I noticed that the swivel chair in my room was in particularly poor condition. The faux leather was peeling so prominently that it was hard to ignore; what once looked like a solid brown chair was now marred with large patches of white and brown. This small detail cast doubt on the quality of maintenance and care, making me feel as if there was a possibility that other areas might also be neglected. .To ensure the comfort of guests, perhaps rooms should be inspected and worn-out furniture refurbished before assigning them to “paying” guests.

The location was perfect. Very walkable and in close proximity to downtown. The hotel seemed to be in stages of renovations with older and newer sections. Most of the hotel was super nice, but our room was a bit older and the AC wasn’t working correctly. It would either be freezing or super humid (on a non-hot or humid day). Plus the AC unit was really noisy and clicked loudly when it would turn on and off. It was a bit expensive for the experience we had, but still a nice stay.

First room the shades did not work, they moved us to another room that wasn’t cleaned from the previous guest, moved us again and shades didn’t work again and the heating made awfully loud bang every time it clicked on. Maintenance finally fixed the shades but nothing about the heat! The floors were filthy

Great location in the downtown area, so many restaurants and shops nearby! We only stayed one night but appreciated the noon checkout so we could workout and have breakfast and then get ready to leave without feeling rushed. There was only one elevator working, which led to some delays during higher traffic times, but no big deal if you're not in a hurry. The staff was friendly and helpful, and we liked having a balcony. The bathroom could have been cleaner, but the rest of the place was clean!

We spent two nights at Hotel Ithaca (8/20–8/22). While the hotel environment was so-so, the condition of the bedding was the worst part—dirty pillows and blankets with obvious stains. We definitely would not recommend staying here.
