Motel 6 Sandston, VA - Richmond, Va

Not a good service and alot of complaints and to much sniching poeple mad nosy and fake and the front dest picks and choose who they cool with.

All the bathroom fixtures were clean and functional. The bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Nice place to stop thru for a short trip. Clean bed and clean shower for a great price

this is one of the worst vacations I have ever had we came here to get away from our stresses but whenever we arrived to our room it smelt like someone was smoking in the AC, there was burn marks on the bed from cigarettes the bathroom was awful we had to clean everything our selves. I would not recommend walking around there at night it’s filled with creepy people for about 2 miles. The only good thing about this place was the price.

The property has tenants that live in the hotel and they continuously begging the people that are staying in the room for money for cigarettes they be out night outside of room talking outside the door it just wasn't a good experience in the hotel room was just poorly decorated just it wasn't right

Great staff and reasonable prices

The room was disgusting. Filthy walls, broken furniture, mushrooms growing out of ceiling in shower, and the doors had apparently been busted open so many times they were gappy and would only hold closed with deadbolt. The people standing around outside all night were not exactly law abiding citizens and the only way i slept was knowing my german shepherd would not let anyone near our room without a warning. Do not recommend at all!

Over all things we’re really good… we didn’t get the room we reserved, and the caulking in the shower looked kinda bad, but other then that it was a 10.

There were hairs in the sink, and on the sheets when I pulled back the covers. No hair dryer or coffee po in room. Dark, dingy. Crowds gathered in back and there was a vicious dog a man had. I was scared

There was hair on everything just about. Shower, floor, towels smh still have a bug issue. Was supposed to get switched out and they were supposed to spray. Don't believe it happened while I was at work.

Long hair on just about everything! Towels, floor, table, etc. Still a bug problem. Had a roach in the bed smh I was over it.

It's an older building, but it was fine for a short stay. Lots of places for food were conveniently close by. It could definitely use an update.

Y'all are nice and except me and my dogs staff is very nice and the room always clean

I like the location, the convenience, and the fair prices, but not sure why they keep offering a smoking room when I signed up online for a non-smoking room.When you are a senior, smoking room can badly affect your health, starting with restlessness and insomnia. Other than that everything went great and I am fairly easy to please with the basics.

My wife and I chose this hotel because it was within a 10-15 minute drive (due to traffic) of the convention we were going to. Check-in went smoothly, however, we were given a smoking room despite having booked a non-smoking room. I noticed a "sold out" sign on the door the first night, and due to the cigarette smell not being as strong as in some other places we've stayed, we chose not to complain. The beds were comfortable but we did find the pillows to be a bit on the lumpy side. Despite being near a highway and an airport, we found that the hotel was (for the most part) rather quiet. Our only complaint was that the next morning, we did get woken up by an argument occuring directly next door to us. A woman was crying rather hysterically, screaming and shouting, and at times, it sounded like items were being thrown around the room. I chose to bring my concern to the front desk as my wife and I heard the woman scream "help me," "what's going on?" and "How did I get here?" multiple times. The front desk told me that they would send someone to check on the guests, but when approximately twenty minutes passed and no one came, we chose to call the police out of concern. The police informed us that we were not the first to call and did come to investigate, but acted nonchalant about the situation. They actually shared information with us; saying that the woman "had too much to drink" and was experiencing a "mental crisis". By the time we returned, the other guests had left.

Stated a non-smoking room that was obviously smoked in that day.

The property was run down. The walkways haven't been cleaned since who knows when. It all looks quite uncared for. I doubt I'll stay there again.
