The staff were greeted us in a very welcoming manner. They were very knowledgeable and provided the best itinerary to see the best of Cardiff within 24 hours. The room was clean and had all the amenities we required. The location is perfect as everything is walking distance: train station, restaurants, cafes, cathedral, castle and parks

Brilliant hotel in a good location, staff were so friendly and nice! It is very basic but thats expected and we were so happy with the room and service! Would definitely stay again, perfect for if you’re going to a concert/show and just need somewhere to sleep!

Room was tiny. False advertisement suggesting there is a work desk. I wrote my request in advance that I need a room with a work desk. This was not acknowledged and on my arrival the reception team apologised as none of their room have a work desk. There is a subtle smell of stinking foot in the room, not overpowering but not pleasant. Price is the only saving grace of the hotel. Am very disappointed with the false advertisement.

Stayed at the EasyHotel in Cardiff for a night while we were out in the city. The room was small, but that’s exactly what we expected when booking, and it suited our needs perfectly for a short stay. It was clean, the bed was really comfy, and it did the job as a place to sleep after a night out. No complaints at all—great option if you just need a simple, affordable place for one night.

Great for one night if you want a clean room and a good bed in a reasonably good location. But, for me, it was not suitable for a longer stay and to be more of a base. The hotel is transparent about it being a budget hotel with slimmed down facilities, but the lack of floor space, lack of shelving or a desk and just 2 hooks to hang clothes did not suit me for a 3 day stay. There was no hot water one morning due to a new boiler issue, but that was hopefully just a one off. The staff were friendly and helpful.

A reasonably spacious, clean room with air conditioning that works properly and quickly, and nice, helpful staff. It’s much better than Edinburgh’s easyHotel. You won’t get many amenities in the room except a private bathroom. There is also very little space to put things — no tables and not many hangers. But overall, it’s an absolutely good hotel in the city centre for a reasonable price.

I was given a basement room. No windows, no natural light, no natural fresh air. The mattress was upside down, and when I put it the right way up I found terrible stains on both sides of the mattress. The air conditioning would only reduce to 19° making the room incredibly warm and stuffy. No tea and coffee facilities provided, you had to go back to reception to get a drink. I paid for 2 nights but could not stay the second night so checked out and went home. Staff at reception were friendly though and this very poor review has no reflection on them. Not only will I never book in again, but will never recommend Easy Hotel

The rooms were tiny and not really suitable for two people. The windows didn’t open, and there were major long term building works next door, which I appreciate isn’t the hotel’s fault. However, a warning before booking would have been helpful.
