Location and parking were good. Room and bathroom a good size, but unfortunately decor inside was not good which let the stay down - room dated and decor not finished where lights had been moved, bathroom radiator rusty so unusable. Was quoted £15 for a dog for our two night stay as per their website and email, but charged £25 stating it is £15 per dog, per night. Manager advised he would be updating the website, but did not honour the advertised price for our stay. Overall disappointed with the stay as

The room was very poor overall: - Bathroom had bad mould around the shower, peeling veneer from the shower pane, chipped bath enamel, and general neglect and poor/ no maintenance. - The Bedroom was a reasonable size but with a very worn mattress on the bed which felt more like a hammock. We mentioned these points to the reception on check out, frankly the room was so poor, we should receive a refund,

As soon as you entered the foyer where the room was located there was a stench. We opened the room door and the smell was much worse. We worked out it was drains but was unbearable. The room was dirty dust and marks every where. The bathroom was covered in black mould on the grout and silicone. The bedding looked clean but the actual bed frame was loosely together and the headboard was barely attached. My partner and I decided we couldn’t stay there and had to leave and no attend the party we were meant to be going to. Tried to give our key back but reception was all locked up even though the times on the door said it should have been still open.

The room needs a good paint, stains up the walls, a few broken items, and furniture is looking worn HOWEVER the staff are brilliant and helpful and the place is very clean . Very good value for money and great position to visit Chester and Cheshire Oaks

I had to book at last minute due to a cancellation of another booking, the hotel staff were friendly and the bed was very comfy, but it was a challenge to open the doors with the handle and yale lock and bags! The signage was difficult to see out front in the dark when driving! The decoration was very poor in the bathroom, but the hot water made up for it!

We don't normally complain but the state of the room wss disgusting from very dirty tiles in the shower room ,could see light coming through the front door missing lamp shade big stains on unit as you came in through the door not nice. The room wss very small we travel a lot will never use this hotel.we have photos to prove it

The room was filthy and very very tired looking. The bathroom grout etc was dirt. Lights weren’t working, lampshades missing and wardrobe was damaged. The curtain rail came off when we closed the curtains. Overpriced and won’t be retuning again.
