Everything was excellent, the staff was extremely accommodating and was very helpful from the Valet to the servers in the restaurant.

Large, clean room, great amenities, and wonderful staff.

Parking signage was not clear, so we had to walk a distance to the front desk. I am disabl d so it was not easy. We didn’t know that the Bengal Room had to be rebooked, so we didn’t eat there. The room had a view of several me roofs, not the city.

Extremely polite and efficient staff. From the door man to the cleaning staff were all on the same page that treated guests with respect. Rooms a nice mix of old-school charm and new renovations. Location is in the heart of Victoria close to everything. Ten out of 10

Room was goo, staff helpful, great location

Wanted to treat my wife to a wonderful Valentine's Day, so Booked a very expensive king bed room at the Empress. It turned out to be a Gold Room, so we had access to the Gold Longe and Terrace. Service in the Gold Longe was wonderful. Best experience we have ever had. Was worth the extra expense. The staff was wonderful and very helpful.

My room was lovely! Rather large, an excellent bathtub & all & all very comfortable! The staff at check in & check out were great, everyone I encountered in a hallway passing were very friendly!

The toilet in the bathroom was not cleaned, and while my girlfriend and i were enjoying the privacy in our room, someone opened our door and tried to walk in. we felt violated.

Everything about the Empress is spectacular! Room, service, location, could not be improved upon.

It was not the best stay the staff was really nice but the room was kind of a beater shower plumbing was moving in the wall and felt over charged for what would have may be been a bit over at a cheaper place
