Hotel fab, staff and service excellent - disappointed in the pickled sprout restaurant, a very heavy unseasonal menu for our liking, sharers hard to share unless you both like the same thing - not enough balance, starters missing meat options and a burger including chips was no veggie options - I’m not veggie) which, they may be fab quality, but need to recognise the market isn’t always captive

I would have given this hotel 5 stars because the staff were genuinely lovely and provided great service. The location was beautiful and the hotel itself was very nice. However… The shower pressure was extremely poor — the water flow was very weak. I was told that this is just how it is, which was disappointing. The parking situation also wasn’t ideal. Even though there are electric vehicle charging bays, non‑electric cars were allowed to park in them. As a result, I had to park in a regular bay and couldn’t charge my car. I was told it’s on a first‑come, first‑served basis, which makes me wonder why the EV chargers are there if they aren’t reserved for EVs

very nice hotel but room is not 110 is facing the bins for the bars which was horrid, late at night early morning all you heard was bins banging. parking was very limited, good location right in the centre

This is a lovely hotel in a great location. It was very busy due to a wedding and a party but neither intruded on other guests. The hotel public areas and bedrooms were spotless; the housekeeping staff deserve congratulations, not only for their efficiency but also for their courtesy and pleasantness. Breakfast was excellent. Parking a bit of a nightmare; very little of it and rather a squeeze.

Absolutely loved our stay. Check-in was simple, staff were helpful and the hotel has clearly been renovated recently to a high standard. Breakfast was up there with the best I've ever had in a hotel. Also cracking view over the town and beyond from the Skybar in which the breakfast was served. We also ate on the Sunday evening in the Pickled Sprout restaurant. Again, everything we ate we really enjoyed. (Would love the French Onion soup recipe. It was the best I've ever had). The location of the hotel cannot be faulted. The town centre is more or less on your doorstep and Betty's is literally across the road. We'll be back in Harrogate as soon as we can and have no doubt that we'll book The Yorkshire Hotel on our return. Thank you to everyone at the hotel for making our stay memorable and enjoyable.

Staff always friendly rooms spotless

Nice hotel only issues I had was parking can be a nightmare and even though reserved parking is offered cones are moved and your space is lost. Shower water pressure is terrible and needs improving.

Very beautuful place, excellent breakfast, and wonderful staff.

We stay on a regular basis ,can't fault the picked sprout restaurant, food always top notch ,rooms a bit dated but comfortable and always clean .

Parking expensive and can be difficult. Room we were in did not have blinds or net curtains and was overlooked by other windows in the hotel.

Great location. In need of a quiet lounge. Rooms at the back a bit noisy in tge evening as they are above the lively Pickked Sprout and adjacent to other restaurants and bars.

Lovely room, very clean however no mention of no window when booked, but didn't spoil the stay.

The room was noisy being sited above the hotel bar- bottles emptied at 6am and music at night
