Really lovely helpful staff. Beautiful building. Great for court opposite! Limited food menu but was lovely what I had. Thank you very much.

Hotel is out dated, with visible dirty carpets in the lobby that show they have not been cleaned for years. Not recommended for people with allergies as the hotel was really stuffy from the dusty carpets. In the restaurant, there was always no staff to serve and take orders at breakfast. We had to go look for the waiter from reception which was also always unattended. Their English Breakfast the bacon was always dry, their mushrooms tasted like they been cooked using used oil. The family room decoration is also outdated, their bed didn’t have a mattress topper so one could see the pattern of the mattress through the white sheets. Their curtains were also almost falling off and didn’t provide full blackout coverage.

The greeting at reception set the tone for the stay. The car park situated next to the hotel had always been free but was now chargeable. Rather than helping with this, the receptionist didn't even look up just said download the app and sort it out then I will check you in. This was time consuming and annoying that you couldn't just use Ringo had to download something completely different. Then came the check in. It was all done on a screen and took forever for the receptionist to do anything. He eventually spun a tablet round to me and said "fill this in". I asked if there was hand sanitiser as I am sure that screen is used multiple times a day. He said "no, but when you are done, if you insist on cleaning your hands the bathroom is down there". Unsanitary in my opinion. Gave me my room key and asked if I had stayed before and I confirmed i had. He smirked at me and said "so you'll know how to get to the 4th floor" - dismissed me and went on to the next person. The bathroom had empty shower gel and shampoo containers so the room clearly hadn't been checked. It was up in the eaves of the hotel with the window open. All you could hear were pigeons and then later trucks, people, basically loads of noise. At night the pigeons were scratching around the room so all you could hear was that, hard to sleep. The blind didn't work, so had to try and roll it manually. It was definitely not a luxury experience even though I stayed in an "executive suite". Receptionist was unhelpful .

I noted the placement of the heated towel rail inhibiting the functional use of the toilet in my room

Have booked the victoria before , the family room, used to hear good reviews, but they appear to be islamaphobic. They charged me extra £50 deposit which was never the case pre-election. Also, my internet had stopped working nor did they include breakfast. Moreover, they tried taking an £20 deposit despite agreeing prior that they wouldnt charge extra if we checked out at 12pm. Let us see if they return the deposit. Also the floor was really filthy in the family room, it needed hovering. There was not even a safe avaialble.

It was fine. Great central location, right next to the train and bus station. My room was nice and quiet.

One of Bradford's stand out luxury hotels, conveniently located opposite Bradford Interchange and walking distance from shops and restaurants. Well appointed, comfortable rooms, with modern facilities in an historic building. Despite being on a main street, it is quiet. The only gripe was the luke warm shower. Will continue to use the Great Victoria when visiting Bradford.

Great Hotel with parking facility and clean rooms, large comfy bed, and nice bathroom. My family had a comfortable nights sleep and use of the bathroom was great. The negatives were the TV was not programmed in and the car parking had to be paid for in 24 hour slots so over £10 for a nights stay. For the comfortable room for a good nights stay at a reasonable price, I do recommend this hotel which has lots of amenities, train station, and restaurants nearby.

Hotel facilities were fine, room was clean and comfortable. What I didnt like was the pre authorisation on your card on arrival which wouldnt be refunded to the card on departure for 3 to 5 days. If they can take it immediately from your card there is no reason why they cannot refund it immediately to the same card on departure. Be aware of this.

Lovely cosy victoria style rooms with ample ameneties. Bed comfortable

I submitted a complaint on Thursday regarding my stay on Wedn 13th May, no reply as yet. Stayed 3 times so far & had to be moved 3 times. 1st time wind blowing through the old window's. 2nd time no privacy curtain in bathroom, there was a rail for 1. Wedn took the biscuit though. Won't go into it until I receive a reply, suffice to say the room was VERY shabby. No TV & no heat.

This is a great place to stay, well cared for, with sensible management and friendly staff.

I didn't opt for breakfast but will next time, unfortunately my car got broken into when I parked overnight in the disability parking bay with my disability Blue badge. It was a shock to to see the damage in the morning and the police were quickly in attendance and per CCTV cameras recording everything in the car park. I would most definitely book the hotel again in the future and would recommend it highly.

Good location to the city centre, clean, has everything you need.

The breakfast cost me £12, the coffee barely tasted like coffee, the 'fresh' orange juice was diluting juice, diluted to the point that you could barely taste the orange cordial, the toast machine was turned off, while staff stood about at 7:30am chatting I had to locate the plug and switch it on, the bread was sat in their original bread bags, again, the coffee tasted so bad, I left it and went for a Costa before I drove to my next destination, never worth £12 in your life. Parking decent, but cost me £10 per day. Staff ok, they all just looked pissed off, as if they didn't want to be there, my one exception was the girl who was making up the rooms on my second floor, very polite and was working as fast/hard as she could. Would I return to this hotel - no. It's tired, dated and needs a fresh look, a new attitude and someone to run the kitchen like they give a sh*t.
