We specifically asked for a top floor room so that we wouldn't have people stomping around above us. We didn't find out until we arrived at the resort that ALL of their one bedroom units are in the basements of the other two and three bedroom units, and low and behold their is zero acoustic barrier between the floors, so we had near constant foot stomping going on at all hours. At one point well past their listed quiet time, we had to call the desk to see if they could corral the herd of elephants above us. Had we known that all the one bedroom units were below ground units right after booking, we would have either upgraded our room, or booked a different resort. They sent us a message immediately after we booked, saying "they'd do their best to accommodate," knowing full well that they couldn't because we'd booked a one bedroom unit. On the day of our arrival they said all the other units were booked, so we couldn't upgrade. They also said the people in the unit above ours were leaving in two days, but then they booked another family in that room immediately afterwards, so that was just useless information. The property is beautiful, if a bit outdated in some places, and well worth the price IF you're staying in a two or three bedroom unit. So, word to the wise, don't book a one bedroom unit if you don't want to deal with the constant stomping of feet above you.

We needed a quick getaway, one where there were minimal people. Staying off the main road in Banff was an absolute pleasure. Highly recommend Hidden Ridge

Les espaces de stationnement sont trop étroits . Le décor est vieux et désuet. Il y a une senteur de fumée (du foyer au bois) anormalement élevée ! Il y a de la moisissure dans la douche et des fils d’araignées partout au plafond. Et comble du malheur, à mon départ ce matin j’ai parti le lave vaisselles et dégât d’eau incroyable!!

Convenient to get into Banff, good space for groups that won’t fit in a hotel room and want shared space. Lovely views from the property and especially the pool area.

We stayed in the 1 bedroom + loft in early June. Thankfully it was cooler weather because there was no AC in the condo. Location was great, walkable to town (is on a big hill though) or local transportation available. Hot tub/pool/sauna was amazing was spectacular Mountain views. Staff was extremely kind and helpful (I called multiple times before our stay to ask questions). My only reason for eating a 4 vs 5 on cleanliness is because our carpet was dirty when we arrived to our condo (under the table).

Property was ideal for our family of five. The public transportation was great! The setting was beautiful and quiet. Needs a little fixing up in places, but it wasn’t enough to make us wish we had chosen elsewhere.

Lovely looking property approx 5 min drive from Banff centre. On the bus route with free bus passes provided which was very convenient however be aware that evening busses become very busy. Beautiful grounds and view with spacious accommodations however could have used an extra clean as cobwebs and dust were still very visible. Would stay here again with a group when visiting Banff

Cozy, comfortable, clean space with everything we needed, nestled up on a montain just minutes above the town of Banff. Veiws are amazing on sll sides. The property is well maintained.

Opposite site of town. Quite a long walk to go anywhere.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It’s perfect for a family trip. The room layout was well-designed, clean, and very comfortable. The hotel is made up of charming individual cottages, each with its own unique and beautiful appearance. It felt like a little village! Getting to the downtown was also very convenient. We definitely hope to come back and stay for a few more nights next time.

We had an incredible stay at Hidden Ridge Resort. We highly recommend visiting here for a quiet, luxurious stay. It is a beautiful location with great staff and facilities.

Lots of space in room. Pool is small and no restaurant on site. They do give you a city bus pass for transportation to Banff main town.

The location is great, super close to Banff Village, and tend to 20 minutes from everything we wanted to do.

The location is amazing. The pool is rather small and needs some cleaning. The complementary hot cocoa/coffee bar in the lobby was nice. Pool towels are available. Complementary roam bus tickets to town are a great! The beds were comfortable. The room looked like it could use some maintenance on the ceiling paint as some of it was chipping. Overall, for a short weekend stay, it wasn’t too bad. It does feel a bit on the higher price side for what you’re getting.

Beds are very soft and you roll to the middle of the bed. No Airconditiining and no curtains on the loft bedroom window. Toilet overflowed in the morning and housekeeping came around 4pm to provide housekeeping services. Maintenance was there at 8:30 am fixing the toilet. Rooms were not as advertised. Bedroom had 2 beds and loft had one bed. No designated parking spots.

Definitely dated… did not like no air conditioning!
