The receptionist was very friendly, responsive, and informative, even though my child checked in late at night because of a night flight, the check-in process was also very fast (FYI, I booked for my child, Aurora, who happened to be on a study tour from her school).

Near the MRT station, the lobby is luxurious, but the rooms are ordinary, small, and quite old, with many moldy walls. The reception staff weren't very welcoming, but they were still helpful when asked. They also offer luggage storage for early arrivals and late departures.

Because the cost is relatively cheap, breakfast is also simple and service is limited.

Been staying in this hotel many times in the past as we really loved the location easily accessible from Changi Airport using MRT and very short distance from the station. However, in this last stay, we were disappointed by the loud noise coming from some guests late night (11 PM - 2.30 AM) that the hotel staff could not find out from where, which disturbed our sleep. Understand the soundproof quality might not be good due to old age building, but at least they could put effort to find solution. However, we noticed the improved quality of breakfast now compared to previous times which we really appreciate. Rest were pretty standard as you could expect from the hotel.

Very nice and very close to everything. I'll definitely stay here again next time. Don't hesitate, I swear it's a great place.

Food is less varied, location is ok.

The location is very strategic because it is close to Bencoolen MRT station, check in and check out process is fast, we arrived at 12.00, already allowed to enter the room.... a very nice staff. What I don't like is the condition of the room, it is not soundproof. The conversation of the neighbors next door is very clear, the elevator stops on our floor and always sounds "bang...bang" (coincidentally the room is in the corner near the elevator). The position of the AC is in front of the bed and the air blows directly towards the head, so sleeping has to be covered with a blanket.... all wrong.

The hotel is next to the mosque. Close to the MRT, the market, and everything. Recommended for those planning a trip to Singapore. Thank you.

Very close to MRT Bencoolen (DTL) blue line. The room was good and clean.

The bathroom floor was slippery, not because it wasn't clean, but perhaps because of the poor choice of flooring. But the most interesting thing was the location next to the mosque and the Padang restaurant.

The hotel is very close to the Bencoolen MRT and bus stops, just a 5-minute walk away. It's also right next to a mosque.

Hotel Bencoolen is a fantastic mid-range choice. The rooms are clean and efficient, but the real winner is the location—walking distance to the MRT and great local food. The staff was incredibly welcoming and made check-in a breeze. Excellent value for money in the heart of the city!

This is a 3-star hotel, but if you're Indonesian, don’t expect Indonesian 3-star standards, okay 😁🙏🏻 You really need to manage your expectations. We upgraded the room from standard to Deluxe with an additional SGD 60 per night. We really couldn't stand the Standard room 🫣 Cons: No bidet 🥲 Don’t book the Standard room — it’s tiny. Super cramped and stuffy for 2 people + suitcases. Zero soundproofing. You’ll hear everything from the next room… even someone snoring, loud and clear 🫠 The elevator is small and slow. Room furniture feels pretty old. Pros: Right in the city center. Literally steps away from Bencoolen MRT (DT Line), so getting around is super easy. Front desk is responsive and easy to talk to, especially for room upgrades. You can leave your luggage before check-in. Breakfast is included. Hot shower works fine. Housekeeping every day + free bottled water. There’s a window in the room (small win, but still a win).
