The hotel was clean, with the MRT station very close. The mosque was right next to the hotel, making it easy to get around due to the close proximity of public transportation. Finding food was also easy, with 7-Eleven and Food Dynasty. The only shame was there wasn't a bidet for those of us who are used to using one. The staff was friendly. I'll stay there again next time I go to Singapore.

No smile but a grumpy face when checking in. I asked for the lid of the bathtub and the receptionist told me to get it myself from the front desk. No curtain for the bathtub makes the floor unsafe.

The staff around the breakfast area accidentally bumped into me while she was mopping backwards, just as I was about to throw away some food scraps. My drink spilled as a result, but instead of apologizing, she just clicked her tongue sharply. Very unfriendly.

This was my first time staying at this hotel. Overall, it's a comfortable stay for a few days. It's conveniently located right across the street from the MRT, 7-Eleven, Food Court (Food Dynasty), and bike rentals. If you're into shopping, you can easily reach Bugis Street. The main attractions are easily accessible by taking a Grab or MRT, and it's not too far. There are many Instagrammable spots within walking distance around the hotel. The hotel service is quite comfortable, though a little confusing at times, but overall, it's okay. The cleanliness of the hotel was good, at first glance, standard for hotels in general. However, we had a rather surprising experience in our room. We found a cockroach crawling across the wall near the bed. Fortunately, the hotel staff were willing to change our room. The hotel facilities were also quite comfortable, with unlimited water refills to keep us hydrated. It's a shame the room didn't have a bidet, but thankfully the bathroom in the pool area did. That's how I'll tell you. Thank you.

I understand that the room is super tiny for that price. But cleanliness is something that cannot be tolerated for a hotel. The wall, the bathroom, the closet, so many things are dirty, mouldy, and kind of disgusting.

Cons: + Poor soundproofing; you can hear sneezing from the next room. + Very old bathroom, grout is completely blackened. + Damp and musty smell in the room. + Very noisy air conditioner, everything looks old and worn. Pros: + Convenient location near the city center and very close to the MRT (about 30m away), close to MBS and Gardens, two MRT stops to Chinatown, and a 700m walk to Fort Canning. + Early check-in, no waiting, receptionists are quick and efficient.
