A lovely warm welcoming room, that was clean and tidy. I stayed here for work and it was lovely

Staff were lovely, breakfast was absolutely fab. Sadly during a shower, the water would randomly become scalding hot for a few seconds or turn off completely - be careful not to get burned! Mattress springs were quite pokey, and sound travelled easily from neighbouring rooms - but still had a decent nights sleep.

Warm welcome, easy reach of the train stations and an excellent breakfast.

Lovely hotel well decorated. Excellent breakfast & dogs stay free! Bed extremely comfortable and quiet for the location. On arrival could not access room. Called out of hours number & very quickly resolved. Bathroom clean but slightly damp smell, likely damp towels, suggest opening windows after guests leave. Definitely recommend

The room was clean and cozy

Having lovely polite staff, the food was excellent and the room was spotless. Nothing was too much trouble and the dog was treated to a sausage for breakfast. The whole place was amazing and wish you all a Happy New Year and all the best for 2026 x

Our room at the lemon Tree was spotless and very comfortable the food in the restaurant is always excellent the staff are always courteous and helpful Can’t wait to return x

The electrics in our room was a bit dodgy all wall sockets fused and lught in bathroom was flashing
