This was our 2nd stay at the building, our earlier stay being a few years ago. The unit was reasonably clean (just don’t check under the bed as the dust bunnies are thick). Biggest issue is parking. Driving a dual cab Ute, parking was a nightmare. We watched a permanent tenant trying to park his small SUV and reverse into a pole. Parking is tight and the streets are congested, so no option to park on the roadside.

The unit we stayed in was a good size but very dirty. There is a main road in front which meant constant noise all night. The staff at reception were however very helpful and friendly people but they are the only thing I can praise about this apartment.

Great location. Easy for bus use. Just hard with small children as we are on the top floor and having baby items. Just recommend fixing few items like dishwasher cap and replace single beds. Staff lovely and easy to speak with. Overall good stay.

Parking is secure, the staff at check-in are friendly and helpful. The pool is beautiful and it is a great location to explore the Gold Coast. The balconies on the rooms are great to sit and enjoy the beautiful views and breeze. My teenage daughter loved the spa. The only small negative, and this was not a surprise as it is in the listing, is that there are no lifts. The views make up for this. This is our second stay and we wouldnt hesitate to stay again.

My second stay at sandcastles and loved it. Room was spacious and definitely worth the money. They were also able to accommodate a early check in. 5min drive from Harbour Town 10-15 min drive to Australia Fair Mall No lift so carrying luggage up and down can be a pain but we think of it at exercise 😂 Will definitely book again 💯

The complex is dated, but we found the price really reasonable for a very spacious apartment with amazing views in a great location. The apartment had everything we needed, was clean (although not spotless) and the pool and jacuzzi were awesome. Recommend for a family holiday at the Gold Coast.

After hours check-in was easy and staff were courteous. Our room unfortunately wasn’t very clean and maybe a better dishwasher detergent should be provided so kitchen pots, pans etc are cleaned properly. ( we went out and bought electric frypan, kettle and a decent detergent. Washing machine was full of mould, so that needed cleaning before using. I would suggest a certain standard of furniture to be maintained for the rooms that are

Our overall experience was good, the reception staff were fantastic and gave helpful information. Cleaning was a little lacking and we would have found it useful to have a set of tongs in the kitchen a scrubbing brush for dishes and possibly a couple of face cloths which we ended up buying. We had a lovely stay though so just a few minor tweaks

We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment. The apartment was a good size offering 2 outdoor balcony seating areas and a spa. The pool area and BBQ area were great. The apartment itself is a bit tired and could do with a refresh, and a deep clean. The staff were friendly and welcoming and communicated the late check in procedure well making our arrival smooth.

We had a great experience at sandcastles its our go to every year as we travel to goldcoast every year. We have never had a bad experience at this property the kids love the pool the location is close to alot of different restaurants and the beach.

We recently stayed here with my in-laws and had a mixed experience. We booked a 2-bedroom apartment, and they had originally booked a 1-bedroom but were given a complimentary upgrade to a 2-bedroom. Their apartment looked recently updated and matched the photos online, while ours felt quite dated in comparison. The carpets and blankets didn’t feel particularly clean, which was a bit disappointing. On the positive side, the apartment was very spacious, which made it manageable and comfortable staying with two young children. The location was also excellent—close to the theme parks and Harbour Town, which was super convenient. Parking, however, was an issue for us. Our hire van was too tall to fit in the underground parking, and finding a spot on the street was extremely difficult. Overall, the stay had its ups and downs. The location and space were great, but the difference in room quality and parking challenges took away from the overall experience.
