This hotel is located in the heart of Medan, close to the central tax office. Breakfast is served on the rooftop, and it's delicious, with a restaurant overlooking Medan. The price is well worth it considering the facilities.

The location of the hotel is strategic, right in the center of Medan city. The surrounding and accessibility are also good. Safety is good. However, there are many broken things in the room. Air-con remote control is not working, the sink in the bathroom is blocked, sofa legs are broken. We reported these cases to the front-desk but there was no response until we check-out the next day. The fruit for breakfast is not of good quality. Other food items are not that great either for a hotel of this standard.

I've stayed here many times, and it's usually highly recommended and great. However, this time I got a room with no soap dispenser in the bathroom, so the soap and shampoo were left on the floor. And the bread at breakfast was full of ants.

Location was near a mini market and local restaurants offering unique and local taste and vibes. The staff were very helpful and friendly managing our early check out, also helping store and wrap our packages.

because I'm the type of person who is lazy to pack, so I immediately made a reservation for 5 days 4 nights, because I saw 4 stars, it was certainly comfortable, but for me, this is still a 3-star standard with the facilities and comfort of the room and the old hotel that should be improved a lot, especially the rooms and the lobby are very unrepresentative, providing a distance between guests and CS as if we want to buy tickets at the counter. but I am grateful for their swift apology and wave my room which I had upgraded from standard to deluxe to standard price. Thank you Hermes management. Hopefully the room building can be repaired which is already worthy of renovation.
