Had a great stay.

This was a beautiful place! We loved our stay here as a family of 5.

It was a lovely place to stay with very friendly hosts near Otta and Rondane Park. Fantastic breakfast was included in our booking. I recommend this place. They also organize rafting.

Accommodation is perfectly suited to use as a base for exploring the area. Close to a couple of rafting companies and not too far a drive from town.

The hostel is in a beautiful area with plenty of opportunity for outside activities such as walking and there is water rafting available on site. The facilities are ideal for a quiet break with the opportunity to either use the self catering facilities or the limited hotel menu and bar. There is a good breakfast provided and I would definitely return when I am next in the area.

It is a basic accommodation but it serves its purposes. The staff was polite and the accommodations were clean. Dinner is available and is good.

Hostel was clean but very basic. The kitchen facilities were nice, and also had a living room. The breakfast was a typical breakfast of Norway- and the couple running it were nice. Laundry was available free of cost, but FYI there is a washer and no dryer, as they use a dryer room instead. Not much in the direct area, rafting availability and good hikes within an hour. Gas station nearby had food/mini grocery, otherwise everything is in Otta.

Sjoa Hostell is a no frills hostel. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the location itself is off the main road in a beautiful setting. The main lodge was built in 1889 and kept very rustic. The Sjoa area caters to rafters. You will get lots of quiet, a pleasant breakfast and no TV. For us, it was perfect!

Had a great time. Clean, friendly, really good evening meal in a cozy dining room with a warm wood fire.

When we went to check in we were told the hotel was closed. We showed our documents and the man said it was his mistake and gave us a room. We were the only ones there. No restaurant or laundry facilities as noted on reservation. We went on Hotels.com and would have been able to books room for that night as well as the next!

Its more like a hostel, just OK for a night stop. Seems good for campers. Breakfast was good.

Lågbudgetställe för friskusar. Otroligt obekväma översängar - ej för vuxna. Otroligt dyrt med middag och aktiviteter som rafting och badtunna. Stort kök om man vill göra egen mat.

Virkelig fornemt til en lille penge

Tvers igjennom trivelig opphold. God frokost. Vakker natur. Aktiviteter for de som ønsket det.

Fantastisk plass. Enkelt , men har alt man trenger. Gode på å tilrettelegge for allergier og barnevennlig. Anbefales

The interior was recently renovated: private sanitary facilities in the room and a well-equipped shared kitchen. Extensive breakfast buffet.

Fantastiskt! Fint belägen i en dal på promenadavstånd från älven. Lugnt ställe. Möjlighet till familjerafting (forsränning). Standard, storlek och skick på rummet överträffade våra förväntningar. Vi hade ett rum med eget badrum. I rummet fanns ett litet pentry med 2 spisplattor, kylskåp och diskho. Lakan, badlakan, städning och frukost ingick i priset. Gratis parkering precis utanför stugan. Ingen tv eller mikrovågsugn på rummet.
